Most of the larger print shops have roll paper printers that print up to 42" by 100'. The paper types are more limited than for sheet paper though.
I have one pano that I printed as six adjacent 30" by 42" prints, displayed next to one another on two walls (90º corner), to excellent effect and more easily handled than a single 13' wide print.

That's a bit much for me, I think :) Sounds cool, though. You must live in a mansion!

I had an idea that M-pix said might work. If I could figure out a way to split the pic in 3 pieces and order them separately they could be hung in series...like three 10x20 prints on foam board. I guess that's called a triptich? I don't know how to do it in PSE 23

How did they turn out, and where did you have them done?

I went to SFO over spring break to see my grand niece and took a few tours of the area. I got only ONE decent pic of the Golden Gate Bridge and I's like to get it printed, but if I used my printer, the best I'd be able to do would be 18x4". Googling, I closest match I found was that M-pix has a 5x30 paper print available (don't think it's available in metal), but I didn't check the price and I've never used them before. Opinions/suggestions?

With "auto smart fix" in PSE23

Since I started the thread i went on a chemo pill instead of surgery, which Medicaid is paying for (@ $10,630/mo!!!), and, even though I'm still taking it at a lower dose due to side effects, I think the cancer is (IMO) pretty much gone. The area used to be scabby, pussy and slimy and would bleed at the slightest tough. Now it's all closed and I have like some white scar (?) tissue under the skin where it was open. My dermatologist is thrilled....now I had my annual eye appt and they found retinal bleeding! I have an appt with an ophthalmologist next Monday - seems like I can't catch a break!!!

VERY NICE!

Thanks for the compliment. The bridge, the ladies, or both :) I got a new subwoofer on Friday so I've been playing with that instead of processing pics...but it's an awesome thumper (Klipsch RP-1200SW)!

With a beautiful shot like this, I just ignore it and appreciate the artistry

Thanks for the comment. If it's not too expensive I might have one of the pics custom-framed...I prefer them to something plastic from Walmart even though their frames are stupidly cheap. I had some 12x18 airshow pics double-matted and they were in the neighborhood of $125-150 each.

Here's one more (I'm slow, or at least picky). PS how do you get rid of C/A - the skyscrapers on the left side?

I'm guessing you speak from personal experience? I didn't have any problems. I either took a tour or walked/bussed with my niece and nephew-in-law. They don't own a car. I'll try to post some more pics today or this weekend.

Thanks for looking and commenting. I tried to do the same thing when I saw the "painted ladies" but I kept getting an error message. Maybe I was too unstable in the shoot across the scene. 'I'll have to try to stitch 2 or 3 them together later and see how they turn out. I know I have one wide angle of them all at once.

An enchanting place 🩵🩵🩵

It was nice...and cool...and rainy...and windy, except for a couple days. I shot this from "The Rock" on my last day there - of course, it was the most pleasant of the whole trip. Go figure. If I ever see a hill again, it will be too soon , haha.

I went there during Spring break to see my grand niece. This was an in-camera pano using an a99ii and a 24-105 f/2.8 lens (the only one I brought with me). Hope you enjoy :)

I am naturally left eyed and I have shot using left eye ALL my life with DSLR viewfinder. No big deal... Now, my right is bad because of botched cat. surgery and I am SO glad I have used left all this time... It's NOT a big deal; be glad you still have vision and adapt. I have a brother 10 years younger than me sitting on a couch as we speak looking at the back of his eyelids.... Diabetic Retinopathy. Be thankful you still have vision. Good luck.

Thanks. I'm insulin-dependent myself and use a pump. At my annual eye exam a week or so ago the doc discovered retinal hemorrhaging. Now I'm going to have to see another ophthalmologist (had 2 cataract surgeries a couple years ago). I'm falling apart at the seams!

Best wishes for a full and complete recovery

Thanks :) I've been on a chemo pill for the last 3 1/2 months and my eye area has completely closed up, although I have side effects (hair loss, muscle cramps, altered taste, etc.). My doctor is thrilled, but he hasn't told me for sure I'm cancer free yet. I leave this morning to go to SFO to see my baby grand niece during spring break (I'm a school bus monitor for special-needs).

I was once a part owner of an acoustics company. We installed a large and very powerful sound system in a young adult nightclub many years ago. It included two 30 inch subs at floor level. The decibel levels of the throbbing music were so high that some of the customers got physically ill.

I was there for the grand opening and got a little nauseous myself. We went in the next day and toned it down somewhat.

LOL
