Hi. 8:10 a.m. here on the West Coast. Clicking on an image results in a 30-40 sec delay before it appears.
I like pet pics... and these are good. Just leave an open box under the tree on Christmas day. Brother Scooter will soon appear.
Are you using selective focus with an off-center AF point placed specifically on the subject?
An interesting list... and useful. My question is regarding the above quote. Why? IF using bbf, why not use a central focus point, then recompose?
My wife, who is not a native speaker of English, got this right away. I had to read it 3 times!

Hey, it did get down to 56 last night. We almost froze.
hee hee. 48 here (SF Bay area)
Mild weather, sunshine. Backyard blossoms.
Saw these collections at a winery in Sonoma County, Calif.
Thank you all for the comments. We got up before dawn, because the cooler the air, the easier it is for the balloon to lift. 68 degrees at launch at 6:00 am. We flew 7 miles in an hour. The pilot was able to spin the balloon so we all got to see all around. It was 80 degrees at landing; and 90 after our champagne toast (a ballooning tradition). One hour later it was over 100, so we took a siesta in our airconditioned room.. Keep on shooting.
2 1/2 days in Napa and Sonoma Counties. The temps were over 100, but the wine and food were good. And then there was the balloon experience.
Many thanks to all who replied. Look forward to some shots of my experience sometime in mid to late June.
In mid-June will go for a sunrise ballon ride over the Napa Valley (California). I have never been on a balloon before. I'm taking a D750 and, probably, 24-85mm lens. Any suggestions as to the kind of shots I should be looking for?
nice set... but you really nailed it on No. 3
Are you old enough to remember Salisbury "steak"? I can remember when it was a staple of every diner and most home kitchens. Pantry was bare last night. I had ground meat, mushrooms, onions, and noodles --> hence, Salisbury steak. It brought back some memories. Yum!
