I recently bought one of those. I use it on a Nikon D750 and on my D7100 (Dx). So far am very happy with the results on both cameras.

I'm certainly happy with it on my Canon T7i...thinking of moving to full-frame but I think I'll stick with my current combination...for now

Nice series! Congratulations on the capture of the rare bird.

Thanks so much! There was a sighting of one last year but I missed out on it...so glad I got this one!

I have this lens too but on the D7200....been happy with it so far although some say the Nikon 200-500 is a tad sharper with faster AF/VC...but I've also heard the reverse too! Of course the 200-500 is not an an option for your Canon. Also it looks like you cropped it? Below are a few on my shots - all at 600mm full 24mp 6000x4000. May not be the sharpest lens but it's pretty darn good for the price and gives quite a lot of detail, with better handling than the 200-500...the gull on the lamp is about 100+feet in the air and I was about 100ft from the base.

Excellent images, Chris! Yes, I cropped the photos just to see how they looked and was so impressed, decided to post them! lol I know there are much sharper lenses but like you said, for the price, I am blown away by the quality. I'm just a weekend photo hobbyist so with some more practice, I hope to get the full potential out of this lens. Just need to upgrade my camera body now

Looks to me like you are going to like your new lens.

Absolutely!! It's quite the step up from the Tamron 18-400 I have been using (although I still think that's a great lens for my needs)

Super sharp images. You have a great copy of that lens. Enjoy and create more superb images.

Thanks, Stan!! I have heard some copies absolutely stunk so I'm glad mine wasn't one of those!

Just bought myself this lens and decided to take it down to a local conservation area to give it a spin. We were lucky enough to find a bird very rare to our area, the Marbled Godwit. I hope this lens continues to bring me more lucky finds like this!

A rare find in the Niagara Region, the Marbled Godwit.

I tried the trial version when Luminar first came out, and rejected it 'cause the controls were grey on grey, very difficult to see them, and no way to change the color or shade. After seeing your results I'm willing to check it out again. Good shot, good PP.

Thanks very much, neilds37! This latest version (I use the Windows one, not the Mac version) is very well set-up and the user interface is very visually appealing, in my opinion. I think it's worth giving it another try
