I Would rather set my clock back. I do not understand all this whining, moaning, and complaining. I hope you don't have to deal with anything important otherwise you will be a puddle on the ground.

I have a Nikon D7100 and a stable of DX and FX lenses, along with 3 SB800 flash units (don't ask!)

I'm looking for a full frame camera to compliment my D7100 and have been considering a D750. My budget is about $700 which should work for a used D750 body in good condition.

I'm wondering if anyone has any other suggestions to consider. The budget is fairly firm, so that rules out the D850.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

This I do not understand. You have all this camera stuff and are involved, why ask someone that question? Involved people should know this stuff. You make how many decisions every day based on your experience and common sense. To me, there is no need to ask. Do some reading and pull the trigger.

The above are succinct and all you need to know

With M4/3 cameras, electronic viewfinders and real-time exposure, I like to be in manual mode. If I want to change exposure quickly I can move my shutter speed knob/dial or aperture (both are on top of my camera and I don't need to take my eye away from the viewfinder).

I've never used EC in manual mode and don't understand its purpose in M for the real-time exposure cameras.

Ergo, buying "Ugly" from any of the used camera merchants or anyone else is a crap shoot. Just make sure there's a opportunity to return if dissatisfied.

Why even bother with "ugly" buy something; good and be done with it. Save your money until you can afford it.

Great. What about the rest of the world? China, India, and that whole region. Big polluters, where does that air travel to? What direction?

The Queen Victoria had 2,000 passengers, and the other cruise ship had 2,000+ passengers. Many modern cruise ships today hold 3,000 - 6,000 passengers. So, yes they will lose a lot of business.
In general, I’ve read where about 40% of electricity produced today is from coal. If we’re going electric for transportation I would think that number would have to increase to keep up with demand. Wind farms to produce electricity have exorbitant maintenance costs. Where do we get all the precious metals needed for car batteries? Where do all the old batteries go, landfill?
It’s going to take us a lot longer to go all electric than we currently think.

I know way too many people. About 7 years ago we went on a 12-day cruise on a ship the same size from Venice to the port city of Rome. Way too many people. Just before Covid, we did a cruise on Silversea. About 500 people soooo much nicer. I would think the 40% number produced by cola is low. I'm going to look into that...Thanks

If you’re planning on seeing the Geirangfjord or Naeroyfjord via cruise ship, you’ve got two years left to do it.
Per Gary Bembridge, on the YouTube channel “Tips for Travellers,” he mentioned yesterday in a video that Norway will only allow electric powered cruise ships and ferries into these UNESCO designated world heritage sites starting in 2025. All current cruise ships are diesel powered or natural gas powered, so they will be banned. BTW, there are another 1198 fjords in Norway, so it’s not the end of the world!
Here’s a photo I took with an iPhone 8 in 2018 of the Geirangfjord while cruising the fjords on the Queen Victoria (pictured on the left). These fjords are magical, and should be on everyone’s bucket list. I’ll go back one more time before the ban goes into place.

A nice picture. When I look at the picture those two cruise ships combined may have about two thousand people. What is there? I'm guessing those affected UNESCO sites will lose a lot of money and those dependent on the tourist income will be in world of hurt. This is one way electricity is produced;

Ugly stuff is often broken. KEH has no qualms about unloading their broken trash on unsuspecting photographers. I would also avoid Bargain for the most part, or call and try to get a more detailed description of the condition. I've bought two bargain items and found them in Ugly condition i.e. broken.

I was under the impression that they stated what "ugly" meant in regard to the condition.

How do you know you're not a successful photographer until you've used the best cameras?

Only the fragile feel that it is the equipment, not themselves.

More importantly the ability to understand how to use the"best equipment". In one of his books, Bryan Peterson, a professional photographer, and author indicates you can take great photographs with any camera.

Well, Jim-Pops convinced me that my efforts wouldn't fly (and he was SO right!) when I printed it large - and of course, I'd want to print it huge. So I started over. Here's my revised attempt. I think it's better on the right side than before. Here's my previous attempt, if you want to compare them: https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-756173-1.html.

Let me know what you think, please. And thanks, Jim-Pops!

It's very nice. My only comment would be the lower part of the picture should show more of the curve of the water flow. More foreground.
