Great shots. I too will be taking shots again after the ice and snow disappear hopefully this week. What is the bread of the second and seventh shots. Aside from the multi color, they resemble Polish Chickens. Thanks Leon
Howdy, Leon~ good call... #2 pure Polish #7 cross breed (Polish over Naked Neck "Turken")
Best to you and your chicken~'clicking', photo shoots!:> 'CyberDave'

Thanks for the indulgence, Mike. They all are well done, and airiness or earthiness as a rendering is an esthetic matter. I had wondered how your first photo would look with just a bit more contrast. Of course, our screens may differ, as well.
Greetings, Fred!:>~ Yes, definitely looks quite striking and most beautiful, in a corrected 'contrast' version...that's for sure. *Mike, I hope you don't object with me offering another rendering of your 'Delphinium'~if so, I truly apologize!:>'CyberDave'
Very nice work, on ALL of the photos posted!!! *Side note~I don't know your age, but your first posted photo, is a very nice example of what was termed 'high-key', at least 30 years ago. So for sure 'NOT' overexposed, as you mentioned. I used that 'high-key' style, for many of my clients, albeit...modeling portfolios or advert shots, for retail clothing store owners~and also greeting card companies. 'High-Key' B&W's were always very popular with my clients!:>
Again, very nice and 'clean' captures- Well Done!!!!
Warmest regards, 'CyberDave'
Over the years, I've always enjoyed the challenge of taking, what I termed 'Essence Portraits'. In my younger years, when I had my photography business... I took hundreds of 'human-essence-portraits'~ but now forty years later, my time is devoted to capturing the 'true essence' of our farm 'critters'! A week does not go by, that I'm not outdoors (weather permitting)~capturing as many 'critter-essence-portraits', as I can!
Here is my latest collection~'Portfolio 1'...hope you enjoy!:>'CyberDave'

It's the only camera I use, it's a "bridge" camera. It has everything except interchangeable lens, so far beyond a point and shoot. thanks CyberDave.
Greetings, 'photophile'~ I wanted to let you know, that I purchased a Fuji SL300 last week (because of your personal endorsement-your photos tell it ALL)! I had a little time to test it out and I'm not disappointed, at all! Lovely "bridge" camera, for sure! Thanks for your gracious comments, about many some of my photographs and as always~Warmest regards!:> *See photo...my first shoot>

Check out the lenticular clouds in the second photo! It was so windy you could not stand to take a photo. A tripod would have blown over.
I sat & held the camera between my knees to hold the camera still!
This was the most we ever saw of Fitz Roy. Unfortunately, the big hike had a lot more clouds. The first photo shows the town.
One of the most
incredible 'series-set' of captured photos, that I have seen, to date...on UHH!:> 'CyberDave' *you, truly...made my day!
