Congrats , , ,another vote for Steve Perry and get Peak Design sling (i use w/my D-800 & 80-400 no strain)
I was there last Oct. I used Wide and Tele. with aN D800. As already stated you can only back up so much in Roma. You can spend hours with your tele just shooting details in the buildings ! BE STREET SMART. Shoulder strap for the 850 I use the peak design sling. Make your camera bag look like and old piece of crap, tape it up a bit put some dirt on it lol ! NEVER NEVER put it down. Enjoy the trip its a beautiful country. photo tip : when your by the Colosseum on the side of the train station go up those stairs. Best if you ca do the blue hour, rest your camera on the stone wall and shoot 20 or so at different exp. you will get a wall hanger for sure. OH YEA #1 tip always, have a euro coin in your pocket. bathrooms are not free !
Daytona Fla to NY. 10/2017 one agent took every piece out of my camera bag. right down to the 1 oz of bug spray. rubbed everything with some fancy little paper that detects explosives I guess. She was great very very careful. but would not let me closer than 3 feet. once done she asked if I wanted to reassemble or could she. Cudos to her ! as this was going on another agent was going thru my carryon like a 4 year old opening presents at Christmas. I told him the tripod is on the bottom. I took one step forward, still 3-4 feet away, he froze and said very loudly for all to hear !! step back now !! than looked at another agent with the firearm. I looked at the agent still doing my camera bag and she was rolling hers eyes. lol No complaints from me. Makes me feel a little safer.

Wow ! beautiful Bride ! background ,,, background ,,, background as mentioned. open up the lens more blurry or bouquet background. Classic pose but go a little more shoulder turn to right and head still facing you. Nice spot on focus. Next time do another one a little softer also.

Adoramapix does a Great job. . You might want to get some 5x7's done first on different types of paper. You will get a good feel to how your monitor is calibrated to their printer. The metallic paper is wild but not for all images.
