Nice photos. So I must be behind the ball. What new body? 10 fps sounds like maybe a D500? That's my new body. Unfortunately I got it just a few days before a medical condition grounded me for 3 months so I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

D500 it is. I'm very happy with it. I've been thinking for quite a while about what would be the best investment at this point without having to completely change the whole system (just no...). New lens? ( too much $$$) Maybe more advanced software? (too much to spend and learn). So I came to the conclusion that at this point I'll probably see most improvement per dollar if I upgrade the body and I must say it really did help a lot. I'm not saying I wasn't happy with my old D5500, but the ISO noise was just killing me and the AF wasn't nothing to write home about either. BIF? Forget about it. Now I have something new to explore and learn and it's been fun so far...
3 months? Oh boy... I hope you're doing fine and hopefully you'll be able to get the most out of your D500 ASAP!

Thank you, it's that new camera body. It motivates me to go out more and spend more time finding those little creatures. 10 FPS (comparing to my rather slow D5500) does not hurt either. At least now I have more images to choose from...🙂

My teenage stepdaughter just did something she says she wanted to do for a long time. She walked in the Starbucks and ordered Venti Ice Water With Whipped Cream......???

On that label it says Yess Whip ...

I just hope she's not going to drink the whole thing...
