IMNPHO — Attention to small details is essential. Under her left arm the label for the top is showing, very distracting.
My brother flew these beauties in WW2 off the aircraft carrier Lexington, which I believe currently sits in Corpus Christie, Tx.
On a recent trip to Colorado we happened upon an attraction called Bishop’s Castle which looked a lot like these miniatures but in real size. Fellow named Jim Bishop has been building it for almost 60 years. Located near Rye, Colorado. Apparently the federal government has had him in court numerous times over the construction. Google Bishops Castle if interested. Found it quite impressive.
Loved them all. Thank you!
My brother moved to Lawton in the 50’s. Worked for the Lawton Constitution newspaper. My parents used to go down for a visit and one of the highlights was to go out by Fort Sill and watch night time artillery training. Thanks for bringing that memory to my mind.
Was in that area back in August. Stayed at an Airbnb in Westcliffe and used that as a pivot point to traverse some beautiful country. Have a number of photos of the Arkansas River, many with people rafting. Thank you for the memory jog.
Was it a Samsung? Sounds like what my tv did.
I must be jinxed... no stimulus check and nothing from State Farm.

Is there not an outside window in her room where you could at least see each other? I know this situation would drive me nuts. Best wishes for you and your Mother.
Not too sure if Willie ever did but I just watched his son Lucas sing it. Did a google search to find it. Close your eyes and you can hear the family traits.
Took the cruise back in 2009 but we went reverse route. Beautiful scenery the whole trip. Will have to post some photographs.
Of these two, I like the first one better. For my taste the second seems over done and would like to see one about half way between these two.
Way back when, 1950ish, there was a clorox manufacturer in my home town that bottled the same solution under 27 different labels.
