I like to look for minor errors in movies. I saw three last night. During a chase scene, a Volvo became a Dodge Caravan, the lights on a spacesuit helmet changed position, and a Cadillac moved twenty feet on its own. With shooting one scene spanning several days, I'm surprised that they get it right most of the time. Continuity can be a challenge.

I can’t say for sure but many movies, if not all, are filmed out of sequence. Doing so no doubt leads to many more errors in making a movie or television show. The Internet Data Movie Base (IMDB) web site lists movie goofs/errors on a particular movie web page. Some of the errors are very minor that most people would never catch but some are doozies.

Some of my favorites are in the epic film, Spartacus. Some of the slaves in the movie are wearing watches and tennis shoes. In another scene, the Tony Curtis character is wearing a Rolex. 😎😎😎

In the movie “Bullitt”, there is of course the most famous car chase in movie history. If you watch the chase scene, the Dodge Charger and McQueen’s Mustang pass a Volkswagen Beetle a minimum of three times. Additionally, the Dodge Charger loses far more than the normal four hubcaps on the car. I’ve lost count how many hubcaps fell off that car in the case.

To top it all, the movie won the Oscar for cinematography that year. Despite all the errors, it’s still the greatest car chase in movies in my humble opinion. 😎😎😎

I went to Conowingo Dam yesterday but although the activity is greater than earlier this month, it wasn’t as robust as in prior years at this time. I attribute this to the weather still being warmer than usual. I still had a great time and met many photographers there. I’ll be going back next week.

quote=dpullum]The COVID-19 pandemic caused approximately 375,000 deaths in the United States during 2020.
https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7014e1.htm

"The United States surpassed 700,000 deaths from the coronavirus on Friday, a milestone that few experts had anticipated months ago when vaccines became widely available to the American public.
but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has so far identified 2,900 people who were vaccinated among the 100,000 who died of Covid since mid-June."
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/01/us/us-covid-deaths-700k.html

Doing the numbers, 700,000 - 375,000 = 325,000 during 2021 approximately 97% were the Vaxx refuters. That attitude can be attributed to the Trump Propaganda spreaders such as FOX news. Ironically all FOX staff is required to have vaxx while preaching to the audience not to take the shot. So the 3% of the 325,000 2021 deaths or about 10,000 are those who took the vaxx .

So most of all... 2020 and 2021 can be attributed to Trump and the propaganda. Also the virulent new strains are a result of the breeding ground of the nonvaxx people. Trump and the great lies are continuing to kill.[/quote]

I recently returned from a visit to Charleston, South Carolina. It was my first visit to the “Holy City”. I spent four nights there and toured most of the sites I wanted to see. As a history buff, I was in my glory visiting such sites as Fort Sumpter, the USS Yorktown, the Angel Oak tree, among others. I will return to Charleston some day.

I am fascinated by sunrises and sunsets. The views of the Charleston sunsets and sunrises from the Waterfront Park area did not disappoint. I hope you enjoy. All the photos were taken with my IPhone 10.

going from LV to Capitol Reef, to Canyonlands, to Arches, to Natural Bridges NM, to Hovenweep NM, down to Monument Valley, back to LV ( haven't been there in 45 years, and at age of 74, not going back ); taking my new FujiGFX100s; I have the 32-64 zoom, contemplating buying the 100-200 zoom to take, also.

Any suggestions as to the shooting locations, and any information / suggestions anyone who has used the GFX100s might have will be appreciated.

Monument Valley as well as all Navajo tribal parks remain closed because of the pandemic. The road (Route 163) leading to the park is open. I have no idea when the tribal parks will reopen.

Only a liar, or an ignorant person, or both would post this.

Anyone with an inkling of a brain knows Trump did NOT downplay or dismissed COVID 19.

The only people I actually saw/heard actually dismissing and downplaying COVID we’re Democrats......Pelosi, DeBlasio, Cuomo.....the list goes on.

In fact, they’re still doing it as they move for investigations while people are still dying....sounds like the Dems I know!

The other 2 planes that I would like to "ride" in would be the B-36 and B-29. Rutland, VT is not all that far from where I live. I might have to take a flight ride in the B-17 before I kick off. Thanks for posting. I did not know this - about flight rides in a B-17. Sure sounds like fun !!!

Here is the link to the remaining 2019 schedule for the Collings Foundation Wings Of Freedom tour. Looks like there are a couple of possibilities in your area. If not 2019, they will be back in 2020.

I want to again thank everyone for your very nice comments on my previous posts.

Taken with Nikon D7500. Nikon 16-85 and Nikon 10.5 fisheye and iPhone 7.

All the pictures are beautiful. The third picture is the winner for me. Absolutely breathtaking.

Thanks for sharing.

However – Patrick Crusius also has a profile on MyLife.com, which was suddenly changed after the mass-shooting. MyLife gathers personal information through public records and other sources to automatically generate a “MyLife Public Page” for each person and at 2:46 PM on Saturday, August 3rd, MyLife had this profile for the deranged killer Patrick Crusius.

Then at 2:50 PM SOMEBODY changed his political affiliation from Democrat to Republican… hmm.. The changes are circled in red below – what kind of idiots are these leftys? They didn’t think we’d notice?

As the attached article points out, the original archived my life page for the El Paso mass killer showed no political affiliation. As the article points out, the My Life web site is a public site that ANYONE can edit anonymously . It is clear from what transpired that people from both the left and the right have manipulated the shooter’s My Life web page to fit their political agenda and to inflame public opinion about the subject.
