The eccentricity is probably an artifact of the Pano feature of the camera.

Or is it fluffed up bird? Might be a skeleton under the feathers.

According to some recent PBS shows archeologists do the same to date rock samples that are too new for nuclear dating. Pollen grains of known species are looked for.

No viewfinder is the deal killer for me. The reason for purchasing my Lumix ZS60 was the viewfinder. Just wanted a pocketable camera (purse camera) but needed the 3 point stability of viewfinder to get a sharp image. Had a Canon S pocket camera, but could not get any sharp images without the viewfinder.

Hi I'm from the UK & we don't have covered bridges, such as this one (great shot by the way).

Are these unique to the USA? And what is the purpose of putting a cover over a bridge, apart from keeping the rain & snow off?

Seems a little incongruous to us on this side of the pond? Nice feature though.

According to a quick Google search: to protect the bridge itself. Wood would rot from exposure so a wooden bridge that was covered would last longer.

When I was young my family would visit back east every year in Oct before school started. To avoid the desert heat we would take the 89A detour through Scottsdale, staying the night there. We would leave in the morning and get to Prescott in the evening. We would usually stay at the Prescott Pines Motel (long gone). The route that went back to Rt 66 (or Interstate 40) would go through Oak Creek Canyon, Jerome (silver mining ghost town) and Sedona with lots of red rocks. 89A has lots of mountain driving if you like (or don’t like) that. Our second night would be in Albuquerque, NM with an uncle who used to live there.

The paw looks too big for a kit in the same group. I'm thinking a result of parental scavenging of a larger animal's kill.

This happened to me once in PSE, I think the fix was something as easy as hitting the shift lock key but don't remember what it was.

Perhaps the shot is from a film negative? It is much easier to reverse a physical negative than a digital file.

Depends on which side of the dam that the fish are. Not an uncontrolled overflow, probably designed to keep the lake at a certain level after rain.

It is a moot argument to me. I have yet to exhaust the abilities of Photoshop Elements (on 15 now, started on original).

While it is easy to do double exposure (called multiple exposure in the menu) with my Pentax K-50, I prefer to do it post process in Photoshop Elements as it gives better control. Any processer that does layers can do this fairly easily. You use different levels of transparency in each layer. You put the most transparent layer on the top of the stack with the others that can be varied as needed. Attached is an example of a sunset over-laid with a rose and some text.

You can probably find a used Panasonic Lumix DMC ZS60 like mine for that price. It takes a little larger pocket. I use a Lowepro case meant for a GoPro camera for it. Has a Leica lens to X30 zoom. It also has an electronic viewfinder. I have been using it more than my Pentax K-50 lately as it is easy to put in my purse.
