Examples of lies regarding CAGW are these recent ones:

The World Economic Summit in Davos is expecting 1,500 private jets. These very people who keep telling us about the dangers of CAGW are definitely not living like it's an issue.

Recently, Bill Nye "the science ignoramus guy" said that due to global warming, Canada might have to start growing food and that's an issue because they do not have the infrastructure (railways) to get the food production to where it will be needed. Wow.

I wonder why Trump is not in jail? The case must have lacked fundamental evidence.

Also, never forget that Bill Clinton has many thousands of frequent flyer miles on Epstein's Lolita Express to his private island.

Are you suggesting the climate is not changing?

Climate always changes. It's been changing ever since there was a climate and it will keep changing until the sun dies out.

Or that the changes we are experiencing are due solely to cyclical patterns and mankind is in no way responsible?

I had to break off this part from the preceding part, even though you tried to link them together.
So, exactly what changes are we experiencing that you think are extraordinary? By extraordinary, I mean that they have never occurred before in the last 4.5 billion years and are totally due to mankind's actions.

Quote:

Perhaps Freon was not responsible for the hole in the Attic atmosphere. However, freon does destroy the natural ozone layer that protects us from ultraviolet light and, holes in it are bad for all life on the ground. That is the reason Freon is now banned as a refrigerant. A human created problem that, in addressing it, the ozone hole is shrinking.

This part is a display of wanton ignorance.
The "ozone hole" was discovered in the late 1980s when we actually attained the capability to notice something and measure it. This is a perfect example of a lot of hokum in "climate science." We only have about 30-40 years of decent measurements of stuff and yet we talk about everything being an issue that has never occurred before, ever.

Freon is a CFC, chlorofluorocarbon (I hope I spelled that right, I was doing it from memory.) It was blamed to the "ozone hole" that was discovered in 1979. Let's talk about ozone for a second. Ozone is O3 and the stratospheric ozone is formed by the interaction of sunlight on the fringes of our atmosphere. Ozone is a very reactive molecule and likes to play with just about anything else. It has been postulated that chlorine (and bromine) from the CFCs are reacting with O3 and transforming it into something else, thereby "destroying the ozone." Free ozone in the stratosphere blocks the incoming and active UV-A and UV-B radiation coming in from the Sun, so we don't get those harsh rays on us to cook us and other things. CFCs are not the only source of chlorine, it's found in the oceans in vast quantities as sodium chloride, AKA salt. There are storms out in the oceans. The "ozone hole" is not shrinking. It's been the same size and fluctuates around that size ever since it was discovered in the late 1970s. There's even a NASA site that tracks it.

I'm not going to get into the various misconceptions about UV-A, UV-B and different latitudes, and so on. but suffice it to say that it was a non-issue that was addressed at great expense and nothing really came out of it.

Quote:

I believe mankind is contributing to climate change, exacerbating natural cycles in ways that greatly accelerate change inamical to life as we know it. I believe we have created an engine of change we cannot control.

Thank you for sharing your opinion. I happen to believe somewhat differently. I'm always quizzical as to why people have to falsify the records and the observations and lie in their reports to make us believe everything is going to hell.

Finally, I will start believing catastrophic anthropogenic global warming is a problem when the folks who tell us CAGW is an issue start acting like it's an issue.

It sounds like he is only mentioning the potential risk for any lens that moves a lot of air where there is a lot of fine airborne dust rather than saying this is a problem especially for this particular model. Anyone else read it that way? [Sorry--this was started before seeing the last post.]

Yes, that is correct. It's definitely not unique to this specific lens.

This might help understand the "consensus " and why it keeps changing ecery few years.

I use the 18-140 VR DX on my D7500 as my standard lens. I've had the lens for several years, even before the D7500 and I've never been bothered by "eyeblow."

It's a great little lens.

SHOT 2019 was great. The crowds are just overwhelming but it's to be expected. I actually took several pictures with my Note 8. Taking the D7500 would have been just too much stuff to carry and keep track of in the booth.

For the Sig fans, I snuck away for a bit and took a few pictures of their booth:

Mueller just keeps knocking them down one-at a-time.

With No Leaks.

No, not really. Mueller has come up with absolutely nothing to do with his supposed primary mission, which was to find evidence of collusion with Russia that affected the elections.

Mueller knows there is no collusion and never has been, well, at least collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians. Of course, there are lots of examples of collusion with the Hillary campaign and the Russians and others, but no one cares about that.

The Mueller investigation leaks like the proverbial sieve. The ONLY reason you think that it doesn't leak is because ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has come out about finding any collusion or coordination with Russia. If any of it had been found, Mueller would have leaked it; they leaked about everything else.

So they finally arrested Roger Stone, a 66 year old man, at his house in an early morning raid by 29 heavily armed FBI agents and SWAT members. They were wearing Kevlar vests and sported M-16 and other things. They had more manpower going to arrest Roger Stone then was used in the Bin Laden raid. Was Stone a flight risk? Why didn't they just ask him to surrender himself like they do to others in that situation? Why go in a 6:00AM, with 29 agents? Why did they create that situation. Stone knew he was going to be arrested. He didn't run away. I seriously doubt there is anything incriminating in his house that warranted a storm-trooper raid. Why did the FBI need CNN present? They could have sent a pair of agents to pick him up later in the day. No, the FBI wanted a drama. For some reason.

Of course, the FBI/Mueller team leaked to CNN for them to be there. If you think CNN figured this out on their own, you're nuts. Why wouldn't the other networks and MSM figure it out also? CNN is the favorite network of the FBI leakers.

I read some of the indictments, it's all to do about stuff that occurred because of the investigation. In other words, there was no crime committed originally, but Stone got tangled in his stories and talking with people and he's in a world of hurt now.

Mueller cannot find any collusion simply because there wasn't any. His primary purpose was to cover the misdeeds of the FBI during their illegal spying on the Trump campaign and their lying to the FISA courts and the way they mishandled the Hillary email server investigation. All the indictments that he got were process crimes; in other words there was never a crime to investigate in the first place, but he forced people into committing crimes during the investigation.

Comparing this to Watergate is a joke, at least Watergate had a real crime to investigate; the break-in at the Watergate hotel. Mueller doesn't have a crime to investigate so he is manufacturing crimes by investigating people and digging. Manafort's crimes were tax related from 10+ years ago. Tell me again how that is related to Russian collusion.

I can't help but think how Hillary, the Clinton foundation, Podesta and a whole host of others would fare in the face of a wide-ranging investigation into every aspect of their lives going back decades.

Oh Mr. feminine hygiene product in a bag texcaster, I thought you might like to know that the family of the boy who was confronted by USMC refrigerator-repairman 3rd class Nathan Phillips and his bongo, has declared war on poseurs like you and has retained a high-powered law firm to go after all the folks who smeared the Covington High School boys in public or with tweets and what not. I have never heard of Robert Barnes before but he has a quite a record going after smearers like you.

This will be one to watch. He gave an interview this weekend listing the people and MSM that will be getting sued; it's quite long.

BTW, what significance does 'the bag' bring to your epitaph?

Since you're not an American, I can see why you're not familiar with some of the well-known descriptions we use for scumbags of your genre. It doesn't change the fact you are a giant douche bag for supporting child molesters.
