I use manual focus and a focusing rail with my camera mounted on a tripod. Focus with the lens on the front part of the subject first and then use the rail to focus though the farther parts of your image. Good luck.

Photographers, especially here, are not normal.

I'm not normal and that's probably why I'm a photographer. But 36-42mp seems about right for me.

Affinity has actually sold out to Canva and I'm predicting that they will introduce a subscription model in the future.

I'm not a street photographer but I have heard that the Sony 28-60mm f4-5.6 mite be worth considering?

The Sony in camera settings only effects the jpgs. The raw files are not effected in anyway.

I'm a pro landscape photographer with over 4 decades of experience and I always shoot from a tripod using my viewfinder not the LCD. The biggest advantage for me shooting with a mirrorless camera is being able to magnify any area for critical focus plus I can check my exposure on a live histogram before I press the shutter.

A very interesting Netflix documentary. Travel around the world with author Dan Buettner to discover five unique communities where people live extraordinarily long and vibrant lives.

Have you considered either a Pentax 6x7 or a Mamiya RZ 67. I owned two of each and used them for many years as a professional landscape and commercial photographer.

I shoot landscapes as a profession and my main camera is an A7R111. I personally don't see enough value in upgrading just to own a newer model but you might be able to find a better reason than I to upgrade one camera for a v or iv. Good luck.

An emergency position-indicating radiobeacon " EPIRB" It's a lot more useful than a weapon if you get lost or injured.
