Badwater has many ponds that are a great photo opportunity. Be careful walking on the salt mounds as they are very sharp and would cause injuries if you fall. Probably need to go closer to Salt Creek for any water in November.

I see that! It's OK that people disagree just hoping to have civil discussions and learn from others also. Thanks for the encouragement!
Yes, I tested the Tamron SP70-200mm F/2.8 G2 (Model A025) against the Nikon 70-200mm EL F. Everyone please remember that this is just my opinion and I am sure many will disagree. I wish I could stick with Nikon for all my lenses as I do with camera bodies. I own over 100 Nikon lenses and only 5 Tamron in cases where Tamron does a better job for me than Nikon.
Spent hours with both Nikon and Tamron last week shooting pattern cards. Have the last two Nikon 70-200 lenses. Tamron and Tokina have been outperforming Nikon with many lenses over the past 2-3 years. I purchase the best lenses for the job regardless of the price and have no axe to grind. I would encourage you to also look at the performance specs. I am a Nikon customer and have been for almost 40 years and have stayed with their products exclusively until recently. That is unfortunate but its the nature of the lens business now. Nikon has been having some trouble lately and I really hope they will step up and compete with the market.
Check out the new Tamron 70-200 2.8 to be released next month (March). I tested it at WPPI and its very impressive! Cost is $1,299 and it out performs the Nikon.

Yes...I always hate to send cameras to Nikon for service!!! Thanks!
I did , in fact, move the Qual setting inadvertently when I was shooting and changing other settings. I don't use Qual much so I didn't think of it. Thank you very much for your advice!!
My D750 is set to write RAW to Card 1 and JPEG to Card 2 and worked fine for the last several months. Last week it will only write RAW to both cards. Does anyone have experience with this?
I have used many of the less-expensive models with LED lights for my night light painting. I find them as good or better than the expensive models.
I have used all three lenses extensively; Tokina, Sigma and Nikon. The Tokina out performs both Nikon and Sigma. In fact, Nikon runs a distance 3rd place in this category.
