It is amazing what is possible today with prints. I print all my photos 8 x 10 and smaller with Canon ink and Red River Paper (glossy, matte, lustre, metallic and cotton rag), with larger prints using WHCC. Canvas (Canvas HQ), metal (WHCC) and wood prints (Woodsnap) have turned out very nicely, and Fracture prints on glass and behind acrylic glass from White Wall look very nice. I've had a client or two order metal floats on barnwood from McKenna and they looked incredible.

And yes, I offer all of these options to my clients and show them samples of each type. It took me nearly three years of research to find the companies that could provide what I wanted for my clients at a reasonable price. I do research from time to time and note any changes that these companies make so I always remain up to date.

I've always turned off my camera before removing my lens. Just common sense to me.

That is a great tip; I wasn't aware about the ears. I'll remember that in the future.

I have Canon gear as well. I bought the first DSLR with a touch-screen in 2012 - the EOS Rebel T4i, and the EOS 60D - soon after. I already had the Rebel T3 ... so they were both a nice complement to it. I am considering another Canon upgrade - trying to weigh the advantages of the EOS 77D - reduced cost, full HDR, best AF system ever, stabilized video - against its more moderate output, compared to dig cams like the EOS 80D, T7i, 6D II.

Could be that there aren't many of the HS35EXRs around still. I've thought about the 77D, but at this point I still plan to purchase the T7i body...for now anyway.

I think that was the immediate predecessor to the HS-50EXR, wasn't it, Warren?

Does it use 4 AA Cells, or is it a NiCad in that one?

You're right, though ... most of the Fujifilm Finepix bridge cameras, are pretty useless in low light, but in good daylight, they are quite extraordinary, especially the later ones with the EXR feature. I've found though, when using Super Macro - you are better off doing so, without using EXR. But, for anything else - EXR Mode is the one to use .... I suspect Adobe overlooked that one, and perhaps, a few other Finepix models, too ... oh, well ....

Yes, the HS35EXR was the predecessor to the HS50EXR, and it uses the NP-W126 style Li-ion batteries. I have five of them with a charger, with storage ranging from 1250-1800 mAH. And yes, Adobe overlooked it, since a Lightroom profile isn't available for it for some reason; I never understood it. I've shot manual with it as well as the other settings and it did just fine. Even shot a wedding and a couple of portraits; they turned out great and the clients really didn't know the difference! I won't do that now since I upgraded to Canon gear, but I have kept the HS35EXR as well as an old S2950 so my wife can play with them sometimes. Once I get my Canon T7i body, I'm selling the S2950 but will keep the HS35EXR as a 2nd backup to the T6i I use now and the future T7i body.

I own the HS35EXR bridge, and it's a great bridge to use as long as it's in the daytime. If I use it at night, I have to use one of my non-TTL Neewer hot shoe flashes so the noise doesn't chew up the shot. There's not a profile for that camera on Adobe Lightroom Classic CC's latest edition though. (I have the subscription.)

I've had similar issues with FedEx, especially since I live on a private road in the country in central Texas. I finally decided to just have my packages sent to my mother's physical address in a nearby city. For those orders that I can have sent to my PO Box, I've had no problems since UPS will deliver to that using their SurePost service. There have been other issues, but that's for another day...

I like the crops much better. I do agree with Sharpshooter on the bottom crop though. Nice pics all the same!

Recently at the request of a client I took several photos of a ranch in far western Coryell County in Texas, just a little north of the two house-rundown gas station community of Izoro. It's very quiet in that part of the country, with only the sound of the wind blowing at times. It was late afternoon in May, about 6 pm Central Time. The horses that you see in color have a racing thoroughbred history, and were retired to pasture. The brown horse is 17 years old, and the black one is 30 years old. Both horses were gentle and very friendly. The cat...well, he was one big tabby and I thought I pulled a back muscle when I tried to pick him up; obviously he has been catching all the mice and rats out there, so he was well fed. The landscapes I took looked decently originally in color, but I decided to convert them to black and white using Adobe Lightroom Classic CC's new Monochrome RAW outlay as an experiment, and adjusted them accordingly; a lot of people thought they looked great. But I'll ask all of you here at UHH...your thoughts? Constructive criticism is welcome.

Gear and settings: Canon T6i, 18-55 f3.5-5.6 zoom, 55-250mm f4.0-5.6 zoom, perfect for what I was doing. All shot at ISO 100, landscape setting used in camera, shutter speeds and focal lengths vary by photo.

The biggest different between these two cameras is low light capability. The T7i has a max ISO of 25600, the T6i max ISO is 12800. The T7i also has Canon's latest DIGIC 7 image processor. The T7i offers in camera stabilization for video recording. Both are very good cameras. If your budget will allow it, go for the T7i. If budget in an issue, Canon offers Factory Refurbished cameras online at great prices with a full one year warranty.

I own a T6i, and the max ISO for that camera is actually 25600. Other than that, I agree with judb82 here. If you can afford it, go for the T7i. (That's going to be my next Canon body.) If not, go for the T6i. Either way, you can't go wrong.

Having worked for FedEx, I can tell you that they will never leave a package at a P.O. Box. Further more, FedEx does not put the address on the package. The shipper does. So if the wrong address is on the package that would either be the fault of KEH for miss labeling or your fault for giving KEH the wrong address.

FINALLY, someone who gets it!!! KEH mislabeled the package, combining the requested shipping address with the billing address. Before I completed my order I made absolutely sure that all my shipping info was correct; I have stated this. Oh well...thanks for the post reply, kerry12.

OBVIOUSLY someone told FedEx to ship it to your post office box. That is the address they are using. That someone is usually the receiver of the package as FedEx will only deliver to the address that is on your package. Your problem is that you are using (yes you are) TWO addresses and someone (probably you) clicked the wrong address or KEH used it as your default address. IT IS NOT A FEDEX PROBLEM, IT IS YOURS.

Sorry, dude...but you are WRONG. See my other responses to what the problem actually was and how I got the problem taken care of. And, you have simply not understood what my original post said.

The only way to prevent "porch shopping," without a "signature required" is to us a USPS box. That way the item is kept in the PO and never sees a porch. As said above. tough luck if you're in the john or the basement, or in the back yard when the package arrives, and I've been delayed for 2 days before because no one was able to come to the door.

My order "supposedly" couldn't be delivered to a PO Box; I have figured out a workaround thanks to another UHHer that has avoided the issue for many years.
