Definitely the third one is the best of the lot as the bird's pose is
delightful.
At least that's my opinion.

Hi,
I grew up in my teenage years in China Lake, CA. Plenty of Joshua trees nearby and quite impressive when
a whole stand of them are in bloom. So much so that my Mother decided to bring one of the blossoms home.
Not a good idea as it turned out. The bloom has a very strong and distinctive odor that apparently only that
moth likes. The thing quickly got thrown out as it stunk up the house and took days to clear the remnants of
the odor from the living room.
Live and learn...

Really nice shots.
Please tell us what gear you used.

Location is West Hills, California. That's in the western end of the San Fernando Valley, southern California.
The fountain is about 18 to 24 inches in diameter.
He really does have two legs.

Hi,
We've had this visitor for about a year now. Lots of house wrens and other LGBs (little grey birds) come to the fountain and count on the morning's
allotment of bird seed that Joan puts out every day.
This guy takes advantage of that sometimes to get a meal, but often as not it's just for the fountain to get a drink and the occasional bath.
The thing is, I can't identify him. We have red-tailed hawks in the San Fernando Valley (part of Los Angeles City) but I don't think that's what he
is.
Shot with Canon 3Ti and Tamron 150-600 thru the upstairs bedroom window.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rohn
DOOK,
Stunning images. Remarkable in download. Handheld or tripod? (I have the same lens on a Canon 3Ti)
