Affinity Photo has reduced its price in the UK by £10.00. (a 20% reduction). I do agree Affinity beats Elements on most levels, but is still behind in comparisons to the full Photoshop.

The price of Affinity was low, now it is almost incredible; when version 1.6 is launched which I hope will address many of the problems and nit-picks, I will certainly look again and probably also look at Affinity Designer to complete the suite.

It listed for $39.99 here in the US.

I just looked and it's only $39.99. Normally $49.99.

I thought about buying the Sport and painting it white. Much less expensive than paying Canon and Sony to paint it white............LOL

Even cheaper to put a red pin stripe on it! :)

My Canon 7d is set up with BBF for the birds and such I attempt to capture. Back button for focus and shutter set for exposure. When capturing a moving subject, exposure is metered at that time the shutter is depressed - not at the first time when the subject is focused upon.

But, but!! The hat makes the woman.... put a hat on the lady... and another hat....

The mannequin is a good learning tool. I must warn you that some come alive at midnight.... according to an old time radio program.

I was thinking a late 80's movie with Kim Cattrall.

I have rented a few lenses from them, but never purchased. They are a legitimate company that does a fine job. I almost "kept" the last lens I rented (Sigma 150-600mm C), but I found a Sport version that someone was complaining about the weight at a really good price. My only issue is they charge sales tax unlike some other online retailers.

Thanks. Good idea but I would rather put that money towards the purchase. I am sure that if other sigma users are not having issues that whatever focus issues Sigma may have had in the past have been overcome.

The nice thing about going through a place like LensRentals is you can rent it and keep it if you like it. The rental fee is deducted from the purchase price.

You could rent the lens you are considering as well. That would allow you to check the AI Tracking as well as everything else on the product you are considering.

Because it makes my Canon 7d look more like a 1DX...and I think it shoots like one too!

Are you so shallow that you think only skinny women are lovable?

Is this part of the conservative Christian, family values, ethic?

Phil Robertson nailed it when talking about 14 year old girls carrying bibles, cooking and making babies. So many of tRump's supporters come from the Religious Right (male dominated) and hate seeing women speaking their minds as a man would.

I think of all the pictures that I didn't take because of utility lines and the work involved in removing them. I guess I'm lazy to an extent. But, my hat is off to you for a cool shot and the work involved.

Soapbox or guy beating a dead horse...both are very deserving of this post. Why does it irk you so much? Just go out and shoot and edit (or don't edit) your own images. Worry less what others are doing and shoot more.

Yep. The OP could have removed 95% of the text and 99% of his attitude and had a legitimate post. But, he chose to go to the dark side as usual.
