Absolutely gorgeous airshow shots. BIF extraordinaire! Amazing captures, exquisitely rendered. Tack sharp, great tonal balance and properly exposed on the subjects. Is the last aircraft a Hudson? Please stay well and keep up the excellent work.

Resembles a Beach (D?)but no tail wheel.

For sure! I watched them do close up from my window. Pretty birds.

You’ll have to get used to some big ole files!

Like those old barns. I’d like to see a little wider shot for landscape but that’s a keeper!

I shoot wildlife and own both of those lenses. I prefer the Sigma for the extra reach, on both ends, and it is more friendly to a 1.4 converter. That being said, both are respectable.

I’m late on this one and surprised no one mentioned you playing with shutter speed to soften flow between one and two. Kudos on offering selection. I personally like the softness of number two for the wall but both are very acceptable and well done!

Always focus on the eye 👁 and shoot a short burst. Then pick the best eye for keeper. I never shoot wild life <1/1000 and faster is usually better. I also shoot wide open, let ISO auto adjust and run speed up for acceptable ISO if required by too much light. I also use BBF. Hope this helps and feel free to ask questions.

Yes. Reflections are special and it is good enough; the eye is very well in focus. A really great moment for you!

Nice bokeh away from the water. 1st shot ought to go on your wall!

Doesn’t get better than that! What lense and speed were you using?

Good choice Jerry. 750 is hard to beat and will be around for a long time!

I have that lense and occasionally use a 1.4 but would rather not. Teleconverters punish one in many ways. If I were you I certainly wouldn’t buy a 1.7 without trying out a friends first. I also own a Sigma 150-600 which, in my opinion, is much superior and you can buy half of one for the price of the 1.7. Sell the 200-500 and you easily have the rest. Hope this is helpful.
