Take a look at ebay or mpb, etc to see what similar film cameras are selling for. Then the seller can anticipate that a reseller, mpb, etc will probably pay about 40-50% of that amount.

List the items on UHH and see if there is any response first, then go to a dealler.

Your work colorizing these images is impressive. I have never attempted to do this process so I appreciate your work. For most of these images in this series, I still prefer the B & W. I like that you post both images.

I find B & W images very interesting. I have been setting my Olympus MFT camera to monochrome more frequently in the last six months and enjoying the change of pace from all color.

It is wonderful to have these old photographs. With so many digital images today, will future generation have our images to look back on.

I have a Minolta film camera that has also gotten very sticky on the rubber area of the grips. I will give the brake cleaner fluid and see it does the job.

I recently was given a Mamiya RB67. I am interested in trying it out and purchased a roll of Kodak ISO 400 B & W film. I have watched a number of You tube videos on loading the film and basic camera operations, and have played with the functionality without film in the camera.

The one question I have is how do I set the ISO for the film. I have seen that there is 100 and 400 ISO film available in the 120 format. However, I haven't seen any mention of the ISO setting in any of the videos I have watched. I have downloaded a copy of the manual and it is also silent on the ISO setting.

If someone has information about the ISO setting, I would appreciate the help.

Thank you.

It might be valid, if the filter is being resold. The 52 mm filter is relatively small in diameter and prices seem to escalate rapidly above this size.

If this is supposed to be brand new, then I would be leary of the offer. Check B & H or Adorama for comparable new filter prices before you go any further.

A few weeks ago, I posted about a crash that killed several high school students, with an investigation following. In addition, students walking at night and bicycle riders have been hit and killed recently.

In the news today, the county executive announced the need for "enhanced traffic enforcement." Law enforcement had nothing to do with these accidents. Each of these deaths was caused by careless human beings, not by people breaking the law and the police ignoring the situation. I'm sure the executive got a big round of applause after making that speech. In each of these deadly collisions, it was human carelessness that caused the deaths, and no legislation can prevent that.

On the plus side, the executive will, "... “launch a public awareness campaign to tackle aggressive and distracted driving, and make sure everyone knows pedestrian and cyclist safety is a responsibility we all share...”

Calling the incidents 'accidents,' may be the first thing that should be changed.

In reading some of the comments above, there is an implication that China and other countries stole the light bulb production from US companies. I suggest that the actual situation is that US companies often decided to move production out of the US.

There is also a question of labor cost in other countries that made it challenging for US companies to compete using US production.

My point is that all these situations have multiple factors and more than one plays into decision-making.

You will enjoy either option. I spent two weeks in 2023 in the West of Ireland. One week with a photo workshop in the SW. Amazing area, great coastal areas, very narrow, winding roads. The second week I spent more to the NW, Galway and Westport and day trips from those two locations. All of it was amazing.

My neighbors spent five days on Iceland, August 2023 and loved the area.

I have seen a number of people getting too close to 'the edge' at many locations. It makes me nervous and at times I just decide to move away from the area rather than observe a terrible mistake, not an accident.

I think for the most part, it is the photographers choice. Yes, for commercial photography and when making very large prints, prime lenses are probably the best choice. For many of us that make prints up to about 16" x 20" zoom lenses will deliver very good results assuming the photographer uses quality zoom lenses.

The best part is that we have individual choices. Personally, I use both. My Olympus 12-100 f4 is so versatile that it is almost always on one of my bodies. But I also use 25, 45 and 300 mm primes at times and love them as well.

I have used Blurb for the the last 3-4 years, but also have used Shutterfly in the past and even Costco before they shut down and moved files to Shutterfly. I typically export my images from LR to my desktop as jpegs and then upload the jpegs to Blurb. I have tried to work within LR to Blurb but found it not as easy as my current approach.

I recently saw a lay flat book at a friend's house done with Shutterfly and even a paded leather cover. It was very impressive.
