I waited many years to get this dog! Finally could adjust working hours to have enough time to spend training him. Starting to train and see how he likes the agility game. He's a trip! They say the breed is "very active", that's pretty lame language to describe this dog.

Thanks to each and every one responding to the bird shots! The birds aren't found by walking around. Every one of these photos were taking while sitting in one spot. I sat there for all of one day, and 2 half days. At times, hours would pass with nothing. Good to have a book and a dog... I'll send few of my dog. Might have seen a few more birds if I'd lose the dog...ain't happening!

Took a trip to a beautiful spot in New Mexico, South of Datil, and past The Very Large Array. It is amazing the bird life in what often looks like barren land! These gorgeous birds never cease to amaze me!

Other than my pup, these are the feathered ones showing up in my back yard this year.

Thanks rodeo man, that is probably true, and I know that I am very fortunate to have him. I don’t know how it will go, but I am hoping that we will learn to do dog agility training together. I have a lot to learn about that, but I think I have plenty of time.

Weekend before last was huge for me. I received into my care a nine week old Miniature Australian Shepard that I named Rio. I was smitten at first sight and so is anyone else that he meets! "Active" hardly captures his energy level. I knew what I was getting into and couldn't be happier with him, even though he's a 24/7 need of supervision unless sleeping dog!
Earlier in the day, I was at the BdA and got this photo of fish and coyote. They had drained a pond down to a relatively small puddle. I saw the coyote stalking something in the water. These are the shots I got. Had I been 2 seconds faster I would have captured him with head under water and coming up with this big l'carp! Never know what you'll see at the BdA!

Have you ever noticed that when you include a link in a post, the post gets reassigned to a different category that just happens to not ever be read...

Over the years, there have been many posts on UHH regarding marketing. Many have asked for advise on how to get their photos seen by the masses, others have asked for advise for selling their photos. Yesterday I received a free downloadable ebook from SmugMug (I am a long term subscriber) who has purchased Flickr, and together put out this nearly 200 page ebook. It looks extremely detailed. I don't personally have interest so I've not put time into it, but thought others on this site might want to explore it.
