Nice shot! I lived in London between 1881-1983. I lived in a little tiny mews called Reece Mews. At the entrance to that mews was a very small car dealership that specialized in Morgans. Always had 3 in his windows. (That’s all he had room for.). I swear one day when I walked by, one of them winked at me.

Wait - 1881? That makes you at least 143. That was a typo, right? 😄 If not a typo then I should feel really young at 81.
Regardless, I loved the part about one of the Morgan’s winking at you. I saw my first one back in the mid ‘60s. It was BRG with tan leather interior. That’s been my favorite combo ever since.

Gotta agree with several others - number two is outstanding.

Wonderful car nicely shot. I wonder if they still make the frame rails out of wood?

If I remember correctly the frame rails were never made of wood. It’s the body framework thats wood (ash I think). However, I’m not so well versed on Morgans that I’d bet my arsh on my above statement.

Great shot, as is usual with your posts. This is my favorite of the 3-4 early 50’s Chevy pickups you’ve posted lately. Maybe not the color but this one has a perfect stance. Bet it’s running a nice SBC or LS.

You do excellent auto photography! I always enjoy looking at your stuff.

I think I see a kindred spirit - you like all the racing cars, perhaps lean toward those classes that visually represent known marquees, and probably were disappointed that the Corvettes didn’t finish any higher. I’m always interested in seeing the GM products do good, and I guess I’m a little disappointed that the mid-engine models didn’t immediately become all-conquering.

Great shots. I’ll bet you had a ball being there.

To me, “take” has always meant to transport something to another place besides your present location, whereas “bring” has meant to transport something back to your present location (or a designated location you’ll be at).

Just after we were married my wife and I moved into a trailer court in Dallas. Across the street from us lived a couple who became our best friends. They had an identical Jaguar to the one here. They said theirs was an XK120, but it looked like a duplicate to this 140. I certainly didn’t know the difference- only that it was the most gorgeous car I’d ever seen.

That little trailer court had some of the nicest tenants we’ve ever known. It was a great experience for us and we happily lived there for seven years until our first son arrived. Then it started feeling too crowded in our mobile home.

These photos certainly bring back fond memories. Thanks!

My cheap Epson XP630 has for several years had a steady diet of generic ink from Swift Ink. Swift Ink immediately sent word NOT to update the firmware as soon as Epson decided to update to prevent generic inks from working.

No update, no problem.

Swift inks have caused absolutely zero problems in this printer.

My concern is that a replacement printer will already have firmware to prevent generics. For those who may not know, the printer reads information from the tiny chip on each cartridge and accepts/rejects according to data on that chip.

That Quickie experimental looks like a Burt Rutan design. Always different looking but quite safe if I remember correctly. I think he also designed the SpaceShipOne mothership.

I’ll change my answer again. I didn’t know there was a pecking order to the processes.
Now I’m at 19.

I change my number to 35. Didn’t notice that drafted table had one missing leg.

Beautiful shot.
Now I can’t help wondering if it was a stormy day - “Red sky in morning, sailors take warning.”

Could it be that the focus was elsewhere - like the perfectly focused church interior?

Absolutely beautiful photo! I think you ought to claim that’s how you intended it to be.

I enjoyed this set immensely. Thank you.

I had a Primrose Yellow ‘67 MGB and it served me well. For some strange reason the Lucas electrics were no problem on mine. Perhaps the previous owner had it redone. Even the twin SUs were no problem. But, I did enjoy fiddling with it back then. I drove that thing top down in miserably cold weather, just because I could. After a year of this I developed a horrible infection (or something) that destroyed my pituitary gland. I’ll always wonder if I did it driving top down in way too cold/damp weather. I sold it and used the money to build a room addition onto our house. It would be worth a great deal if I’d kept it until now - but still considerably less than what the room would cost nowadays, so I came out ahead. Except for the pituitary thing. Meds have been a permanent part of my life since then.
