And I think that you do not know what you are talking about in this context.

So, we both have opinions.

Next comes the discussion about credentials in this specific context.

The context here is jewelry and sales and marketing....

So your expertise and credentials are ?....[/quote

...Just a designer / photographer... no credentials, no sales, no marketing. It was just another opinion to think about.

Good luck with that!

Have you had to deal with a disappointed customer? With a high value sale? Across global boundaries?

Do you deal in international jewelry sales? If so, please provide clarification.

We are listening!
I think selling works from many origins ( I think that might describe what your wife does ) is not the same thing as this assignment. The job here is to make ALL pieses by this designer special.

It is worth considering that you do not want the photographs to look better than the real thing, but to set the expectation exactly and to leave the customer delighted with their purchase!
Can't agree with that in this case. The designer neads to look special, her work needs to look spectacular. The photos need to communicate spectacular. And have fun !!!

The last check was returned.
I have been furiously pursuing my crafty art, such as it is.
I did get very sick a few weeks ago, but it hasn't seemed to help much. There are still poisons in me.
Yes, all is well here, I will start looking for more of your 'artistic' creations.

Is that a good surprise or a bad surprise? What about it is surprising?

I am so used to seeing Billy's super-cooked images of cars and stuff that this glimpse of his 'other side' was a surprise to me.
The technique needs a little mastery, but at least it's not HDR cars.

I tried them all. No one works with sync cord on

AND you tried NO light and just shorting the sync contact that usually plugs into the camera. And be shure the cord is plugged all the way into the jack on the strobe, I originally had that problem but after trying everything else the fix was that simple.
I am running out of ideas.

I am sorry for the delay. Yes. it has blue, red and none light

Looks like you need NO light for wired sync. Is that what you are using?

I already thought to buy some radio triggers that help to connect camera with strobe. Do I still need speedlight if I have such trigger?

NO. That is what I use. No on camera flash at all. Just either sync cord or Yungnao triggers.

Use a paper clip or anything else metal to short the inner and outer conductors of the sync cable you are using. It should trigger the 300sdi. It is low voltage and won't hurt you (or the strobe). I just did it on mine. Do not be afraid!
