We saw this guy when we were out in Lancaster. We were in front of Good's store and the poor thing was flying all over looking for a place to land. There were no plants around...just a parking lot and this wall on which he landed! Not real good shots, but the best I've gotten!
Just thinking .... it's probably because I'm looking at this big disc and thinking flat and it's obviously not.
the moon being and having a soft edge around it last just a short time, hard to get the full moon head on, one side will always be a little soft. The light is always falling off the back side of the moon, you get good details on that side shots are hand held Nikon Df, tamron 150-600mm
Hi Everyone , Ive been Using my Nikon D200 for a few years now with Great Results .
Thing is Ive had this Craving to Buy a Full Frame Perhaps a D610 .. My main reason is for Better Bokeh , Wider View etc ..
Is it really worth it I ask .. Massive outlay of money .. and of course I will need all new lenses ..
Has anyone made the switch ? do you think you gained much ( apart from the prestige ..lol )
Comments welcome Thanks
I have a D80 and a D200 upgraded to a DF love it, came with a 50mm lens, hade a 70-300mm lens, DX lens work with the full frame cameras so you don't have to upgrade all you'r lens now. You lose 30% of the sensser with a DX lens but the image qulity is so much better. Bokeh is gaind by openg up the apiture .
Let's rant about something other than parking, since this is not the only one parked in 2 spots and there are still dozens of empty spaces.
New rant: A lot of states, Oregon included, require front license plates, which destroy the sculpted front end look. $140 fine for not having one. This is so cops can ID a car from the front. But..... 9 million motorcycles in the US, 89,000 in Oregon with NO FRONT PLATES!
I would do the same far from everyone, no front plates in Pa. to cheap to stamp two plates, they are going to stop registration stickers for the plates in 2017 to save money. Next is to do everything on line and do away with all the jobs. If they do away with all the people, the post office, and I have to print my own reg. card the fee should go down, not!!!!!
Nice shot, CEJ. If you would like to see some different interpretations post it in the Post Processing section. Some of the members would to have your permission to work on that image. (Yep, you are right, that includes me.)
as shot no PP done, thought if it got enough hits it would be worth working on
Hi,, I just got back from the Airventure Air Show in Oshkosh WI, and this is one of my favorite shots from the show. And F-18 making an entrance on a very cloudy and humid day,,
