My subjects are animal and landscape yet I remain owl-less. Having never seen an owl in his or her wild, I find myself unable to post any pictures of owls. Thank you for your post.

Probably been to most of the places you did. Canyon de Chelly is like a miniature grand Canyon, the favorite of all our national parks. We used to live in Camp Verde and I wish I was back there now.

I rarely reply but this one is just too nice to let go by without saying something. Your work is very appreciated.
With deep respect,

Thank you! Thank you! I really enjoyed your pictures. I grew up in Edgewater, New Jersey. Lived there for 23 years, then spending 32 in Colorado. I miss the view I had of the Hudson and the Park along the river in NYC. The shots you took from the top of the cliffs was equally excellent! I remember going to work in Manhattan and what we called "The Interstate Cowboys" coming down the Palisades Interstate Parkway and across the GWB. In ways I miss that lifestyle but can and will not ever go back. Having lived in 8 US States, I might return to Washington as number 1 and Arizona as number 2. I liked California but too busy, too many people. I liked Oregon but one should have a loose zillion in the bank to live there. Be well and come back often.

Interesting photo. Thank you. Born in NJ, I used to spend winters on the piers fishing for Ling and Whiting. We used them for bait for the larger fish but never caught any. Regards,

Thank you James. Your photography is wonderful. Almost (not too close yet) a shut in at age 75 I don't get around much anymore. The Indian River near where I live has a campground where you can park and watch the lift offs of our newest space program. I rarely get around to see them taking off. One of my neighbors told me they were able to see the latest from their back yard. We are that close. I didn't go outside to watch it because the local news stations all broadcast the launches as they occur and like watching fireworks, we get a better view on the TV than finding a spot on the ground. My significant other has COPD so we have to be careful and not park where the fireworks enthusiasts park. The smoke even bothers me somewhat. Having lived in 8 US states, I really enjoy seeing this great land of ours and have a rather large collection of pictures but nothing beats the real thing. Thanks for your contributions. I have spent some time in Tennessee, mostly around Knoxville and points east. I have been all over this land of ours but have missed more than I have captured. Good luck and good shooting in the future. Regards................

I have tried to get a photo of an Owl for years and so far I cannot say I have ever seen an owl in the wild. I was within arm's length of a bald eagle but no owl. I was fishing on the White River in Colorado and there he was, sitting on a log and looking into the stream. I did not have my camera with me so I was never able to get some pictures. I had some fish eggs for bait so I used a couple to feed the bird. In fact I stopped because I was running out of eggs. The only place I have ever seen an owl was in a zoo. Seeing an owl in the wild is like seeing a UFO. I can't say I believe in them because I have never seen one, but on the other hand, I can't say I don't believe because I have never seen one. It seems that owls are as elusive to me as a UFO. Maybe someday. Regards and good luck shooting. Your pictures are wonderful.

Hi,
Having heard the story of the guy in the refrigerator, these religious "jokes" are amusing though death is never amusing to any of us.

Very good!! I was in Chinese Restaurant one night and a gentleman in the table next to us was having Peking Duck. He offered that I should taste it but I just could not. All through the growing up years of my daughters, we had several places to go and feed ducks. I just could not imagine eating one that night, not even a taste.

I do hope your eyes are okay. That shot could be the front door on your outhouse.
Ted who didn't even leave the recliner for the festivities in Palm Bay.
