My Nikon D7000 is a lemon. Continuous back focusing problems
I want a simple system...not a lot of gear to haul or I will need to hire a sherpa.
These are my requirements for a replacement:
1. Lightweight
2. simple menu
3. can activate remote flash
4. I don't need 2 card slots
5.I don't use 80% of the features of my D7000, (i.e.Qmode,Stored programs, Video) I only shoot photos
6.Will work well with f2.8 17-55 lens and f 1.8 50 mm lens
7.Is not possessed and has a good track record.
8. Will do well with portrait work and school events-volleyball/basketball)

Camera I have had remarkable success with... Nikon D50 EVERY image I shot was pristine. D7000 is horrible.

Have looked at D5300 D5500 D3300

So, fellow photographers using Nikon....what is your recommendation?
My Nikon D7000 is a lemon. Continuous back focusin... (show quote)

I love my D3300 and it didn't break the bank...

If you have a Mac, you can right click on an image and save it to downloads. Then open it with your favorite image software. There is probably a similar option in Windows.

Go mac, you won't look back and your life will be way more issue free.
Buy the most machine you can because you are buying obsolescence whenever you buy a computer. The Mac will probably be useful long after the Windows machine has reached its end of life...

My hard drive had a head crash and I lost more than half of my photos and videos just because I procrastinated in backing them up. 1000's of memories gone forever! I am so devastated! It was a Seagate hard drive which I was told that it was a common problem with that brand. Please learn from my mistake. BACKUP YOUR PHOTOS AND VIDEOS AND DON'T BUY SEAGATE HARD DRIVES!

I feel your pain.

It's obvious the mother or father was negligent in watching this child and should be held responsible for the death of the Gorilla. I think that they should be charged with neglect of the child and have to pay for the Gorilla.

fstoprookie, you might want to examine the software Affinity, it's similar to Photoshop without the subscription and the high price...I believe it's $49.95 at this point if time.

No such thing as Remask Prime in Topaz Labs. If there was it won't be $9.99.

Remask Prime is available from Apple's App Store.

The 9.99 version is not a PS plugin but appears to me to be a phone/ipad app only.

I was able to install it on my MacBook Pro.

There are a few programs that can host it I am pretty sure affinity photo supports it (mac).

Recently a beta program was set up for a windows version of Affinity Photo. You may find the free beta will work with nik plugins.

There is a Youtube video that shows you how to install in Affinity Photo on a Mac. I have it installed with OXS X Yosemite 10.10.5 and AF 1.4.1. The url is:

Hope this helps,
