I have these four basic manual flash units, they have no TTL, no HSS, no zoom and no group numbers. Three of them are Godox TT520II and come with a built-in radio trigger and a transmitter for on the camera. You can’t adjust the power from the camera, you have to adjust power from the back of the flash. They adjust in one stop increments; fine adjustments are accomplished by moving the unit closer or father from the subject. The other one is a Neewer TT560, it’s the same as the Godox units but no built-in radio trigger. All four have an S1 and S2 optical trigger. They have a guide number of 30+, that’s only about half the power of the more expensive flash units, but I have only a small area to work in and with small modifiers they should do fine. Has anyone out there had experience with these flashes?

Looks like you had a good connection with Kristal in addition to getting lovely shots. She looks like she’s very comfortable in front of the camera.
She is a lonely young lady. This was my second shoot with her, I hope there will be many more.

Nice! The second is my favorite.
My favorite was last picture of the shot.
A few from a shot earlier today. This was my second shoot with the lovely Kristal. She is a pleasure to work with.
Anybody else sitting home today and wants to talk photography?
My friend Andre, from a shoot we did two weeks back.
Quick shoot with Kristal this morning.

You could also do it how I do it - I use B&W film.
Yes, but digital is quicker and less expensive and I don’t end up in a fight with my wife because I took over one of the bathrooms for a temporary darkroom.
Maybe you guys would be interested in this chart.

When I'm out and about I go small these days.
1. Nikon Z fc with SmallRig grip and Peak Design Leash strap
2. At least three spare Nikon batteries in addition to one in the camera.
3. One 128GB SD card in camera and one extra, just in case.
4. For cleaning, one Giotto Q-Ball compact blower, one LensPen, and several Zeiss lens wipes.
5. Voigtlander Z mount D23mm f/1.2 Nokton MF lens
6. Voigtlander Z mount D35mm f/1.2 Nokton MF lens
7. TTArtisan Z mount 28mm f/2.8 AF lens.
8. ThinkTank Mirrorless Mover 20 case - 4.53 x 6.1 x 5.31 inches and 8.8 ounces.
This is a very compact and small kit. Everything fits into this small case and when completely loaded it weighs around 3 lbs, including all three very small lenses.
On occasion I also take along my Peak Design Travel tripod, which ways 2.8 pounds.

Very, very, very nice. No lighting?

It kinda depends on your style of photography and your desires.
99% of my shots are with the zoom. I rarely use the 50 as I mostly do landscape shots.
But it's small and doesn't weigh much.
I decided a long while back that I didn't need to carry a mess-o-stuff for any contingency...
I have other accoutrements, but I pull them out of the other bag as desired/needed for what I plan on doing.
e.g. extension tubes; wireless remote; a Sony H-1; external flash; chargers; ...
What I listed above (initially) is all I took to Iceland when we went.
I like the zoom, as it saves carrying a bunch of lenses.
(I'm not a perfectionist that needs the "better" quality of fixed lenses.

You have a very nice kit.

When I'm shooting wildlife, which is 99% of the time, I only carry a Sony a1 with grip, Sony 600mm f4, extra batteries and cards. That lens will not fit into a regular bag so I rarely have one with me. If it looks cloudy I add a couple Walmart plastic bags.
I also carry Zeiss lens wipes and 🚀 blower in my pockets.
My longest lens is a 70-200 f/2.8. I Use it for sports. I don’t carry it unless I know I am going to use it.

Basically:
Canon T1i w/ an 18-200;
50mm;
spare batteries;
spare memory cards;
some filters;
pen & notepad;
Zeiss wipes;...
Other stuff added as required for the outing.
I’m getting old, trying to lighten my load. I was also thinking about not carrying the 50mm and 85mm lens. What do you think? You only carry the zoom and the 50mm.
