I have a puree of this pepper that I got from Amazon. IT IS HOT!! All it takes for a bowl of chili is just the tip of the spoon. I mean just enough to see it and I love hot pepper!!!

I was 9 before we had electricity. No electric co until TVA came in. I was grown before we had running water. Before that we used a spring and bucket. It was my job to fill the cauldron up on wash day. Heated with wood or coal. Back room not heated. I can remember reaching my hand out from under the quilts and hauling ass into the kitchen where mama would be cooking breakfast on a wood stove. I would warm my pants up by the stove and put on warm pants. I was in the Army when they moved the outhouse inside. Grandpa still preferred the outhouse! Had milk from the cow faucet and plowed the garden with a mule. I was a married man before they got a telephone. Hard times, but I think as a whole, we were happier. Never went hungry, but sure ate a lot of taters.

I use a Garmin 680t. Outstanding at $599. For my smartphone I use an app called earthmate. Also outstanding at $29. Both work very well.

???? At $10,000 for a pair of tickets... a $15 bottle of beer isn't going to affect any fans kids food supply for the next week... or are you bemoaning that they didn't accept food stamps.... O_o

No kid goes hungry in this country unless someone wants them to... period.

Is there still left over acid leeching into the water supply down there?

Try Appalachia. There are many proud mountaineers there.

Here's an interesting test to compare your speech patterns with those of other people. Apparently, I'm an American who speaks English.

Tommy Atkins

I WENT into a public 'ouse to get a pint o' beer,
The publican 'e up an' sez, " We serve no red-coats here."
The girls be'ind the bar they laughed an' giggled fit to die,
I outs into the street again an' to myself sez I:
O it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' " Tommy, go away " ;
But it's " Thank you, Mister Atkins," when the band begins to play
The band begins to play, my boys, the band begins to play,
O it's " Thank you, Mister Atkins," when the band begins to play.

I went into a theatre as sober as could be,
They gave a drunk civilian room, but 'adn't none for me;
They sent me to the gallery or round the music-'alls,
But when it comes to fightin', Lord! they'll shove me in the stalls!
For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' " Tommy, wait outside ";
But it's " Special train for Atkins " when the trooper's on the tide
The troopship's on the tide, my boys, the troopship's on the tide,
O it's " Special train for Atkins " when the trooper's on the tide.

Yes, makin' mock o' uniforms that guard you while you sleep
Is cheaper than them uniforms, an' they're starvation cheap.
An' hustlin' drunken soldiers when they're goin' large a bit
Is five times better business than paradin' in full kit.
Then it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an` Tommy, 'ow's yer soul? "
But it's " Thin red line of 'eroes " when the drums begin to roll
The drums begin to roll, my boys, the drums begin to roll,
O it's " Thin red line of 'eroes, " when the drums begin to roll.

We aren't no thin red 'eroes, nor we aren't no blackguards too,
But single men in barricks, most remarkable like you;
An' if sometimes our conduck isn't all your fancy paints,
Why, single men in barricks don't grow into plaster saints;
While it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an` Tommy, fall be'ind,"
But it's " Please to walk in front, sir," when there's trouble in the wind
There's trouble in the wind, my boys, there's trouble in the wind,
O it's " Please to walk in front, sir," when there's trouble in the wind.

You talk o' better food for us, an' schools, an' fires, an' all:
We'll wait for extry rations if you treat us rational.
Don't mess about the cook-room slops, but prove it to our face
The Widow's Uniform is not the soldier-man's disgrace.
For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an` Chuck him out, the brute! "
But it's " Saviour of 'is country " when the guns begin to shoot;
An' it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' anything you please;
An 'Tommy ain't a bloomin' fool - you bet that Tommy sees!
I'm sure that Tommy also speaks for Joe . . . br ... (show quote)

As a military brat and a vet, i can remember when the U S Soldier was treated as such. We were just above white trash in the social order!
I am so thankful that my son, a crew chief in the 82nd abn, is treated with the respect that he deserves.

Not no but hell no. We also decided not to contribute to causing people to have to work on Thanksgiving by not shopping today either. Having spent 45 years in retail management, mostly big box, it's just not worth staying open on Thanksgiving when you have to force people to come to work.

I agree. Let them be with their families!!!!
