Very good, fine colors. I am surprised there is no housing development around it!

You just can't see them. There are many, many thousands of homes between the trees and the foothills behind them. This was a private mansion years ago and was finally donated to the city as the mansion was in ruins. This is basically their back yard view.

I have a 200-500 and love it. Most of the time I hand hold it. I took this Egret yesterday morning hand held. 490mm, ISO640, 1/1000 sec, F8

It was west of Walsenburg, about 60 miles, why would I lie? I never taught about that this being so rare, that is the only one I have. Hope you find out.

I know you wouldn't, just blows my mind you found this in CO. Thanks so much for the info!

Thank you very very much David, everybody says no, but here is the fact, the camera don't lie.

OK, I'm not saying you lie, but where was this? I have lived here since 1969 and have never seen this! Ever! Please let me know as I would love to visit!

Excellent as usual and all very typical of Colorado except the Quaker wagon and while I realize that you likely shot it here, it is not typical of Colorado as the title might imply to some. I have lived here nearly 42 years now, have been to all parts of the state extensively, and have yet to see a Quaker wagon on the roads.

Same here as that first pic shocked me a bit and I've been here over 50 years and have never seen one on the road, although may have at an old buggy show.

Amen! It totally amazes me that some people think that letting our economy crash and having most of us starving to death is much better than some dying of Covid 19. We are all going to die some day but I prefer not having to starve.

Very nice representation of my home State. I live in Colorado now but return home almost every year! I noticed the last photo was of Chief Sitting Bull monument. Is that his burial site or a monument somewhere else? As I recall he was buried on a hill overlooking the Missouri River. If it is the burial site; it sure looks different now as it had steps and was fenced in I believe. Thank you for posting the photos!
