What is odd for me, is the fact that now I am not receivimg any porn sites and only SCAMS telling me that I have millions and millions of dollars that are mine but I have to pay $100 first to cover administration. I'm sure that veryu meny people recive the same thing, like the female who is dying of cancer and her husband left her millions that she wans me to administer via a charitable organisation. Or the diplomat who is working at an airport and has discobvered two boxes of mine that contain millions I often wonder what would happen if I gave him an address to forward my boxes to me.
The ones telling me that I am being compensated for having been scammed. I never have been.
Over the years I have become accustomed to receive 20 or 30 SPAM or SCAM messages every day but things are changing.
Up until about two or three weeks ago the majority of SPAM messages dominated my inbox, mostly porn sites. Then things changed. The spam messages have disappeared completely and now I receive only SCAM messages as you can see from the screenshot.
Usually I just delete them but on this occasion I'm keepng them to see how many more will arrive before the porn sites start again.
As a fitting tribute to Sondheim, the lights of London's Theatreland will be dimmed for two minutes at 19.00 this evening, Monday the 29th of December.
And just to demonstrate his meticulous approach towards his music, here he is teaching a pupil far too young for the part, how to sing Send In The Clowns.
Stephen Sondheim born 1930, died at the age of 91. He was a composer who revolutionise musicals but strangely only ever had a number 1 hit: Send in the clowns.
A myriad of artists have tried to sing it, mostly with dire results. Frank Sinatra admitted that he had no idea what the song was about, Barbara Striesland emoted her way through it, Judy Collins treated like a dirge.
To truly understand the song one has to see a performance of "A Little Night Music" and then everything comes clear. It is sung by a now older and fading lady who realises that she has loved and lost. I think that this performance conveys everything:
This is a photo of my monitor screen today. I have reported these to Gmail but obviously Gmail takes no notice whasoever. I have never had such a persistent scammer.
Thank you all for your constructive comments. The competition is about how one interprets the theme, not so much about the quality of the photos and only very light PP was allowed. Quite a few people limit themselves to taking shots with their mobile 'phones. The photos I took were all taken with a small Canon P&S. As I have said in the past, I'm a non-photographer.
