Very nice B&W photos and nice use of bokeh. Even Ansel Adams would like these.
Thanks

You should read up on the "Fermi Paradox" and 75 Solutions. Fermi famously asked "Where is everyone?", thus the now well-known "Fermi Paradox". Fermi is a well-known scientist and made this statement in 1950 while working at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and at lunch one day with fellow physicists.
The book includes a well written explanation of the paradox and includes 75 proposed answers to why we have not yet detected them. To me, the explanation of the reasoning behind the paradox is most interesting.

Following. The eye doc tells me I have this coming in my near future.
Great lists here - I have seen and enjoyed many of the movies listed.
I also enjoyed O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Bottom line to all this is:
You are NORMAL!
So am I.
They post a new astronomy related picture every day with an explanation by a professional astronomer. It is one of my regular visits in my daily surfing. Highly recommended for those with any interest in such.
Here is a discussion on that question from one of the scientists from Fermilab. It tells us what is known and what is not known.

Thanks to all for your service. I was there 66-67 outside of Qui Nhon.
Woodworking is another hobby for me. And yes, I have one which I use for woodworking. I don't heat with wood, so no need to use it for that purpose.

Curiously, the link you provided, to Staples, lists the pen as "fraud resistant" while A***zon lists the same pen as "fraud proof".
What brand/type of printer is it? I have not found one that will last that long. I have replaced mine twice since then.
Those of us here in Texas include those born here and those who came here later in life. Those of us in the latter category like to say:
"Texan by choice, not chance."
and
"I wasn't born here but I got here as fast as I could."
US citizens by choice, aka Americans by choice, could paraphrase these.

But does it work well?
I suppose that depends on what you are looking for.
We use it for home service, internet and TV, and when in the house we put our cell phones on WiFi, so they are also working through it. We have had this service for a few months now.
We have never had any issues with our cell phones.
For TV, we sometimes have a momentary pause while it loads up the video stream, usually no more than several seconds. This seems to happen more often during peak hours, Friday nights and weekend afternoons.
I gave you the internet speeds. And, as I said, we have an occasional hiccup, on the order of once or twice a month. Rebooting the gateway and the mesh routers seems to fix that problem.
So, yes, it works well enough for us. And we were fed up with our previous cable company, so this is a pleasant change.
If the cell tower should go down, then all bets are off.
