In my suburban setting, we rarely get deer at our lake, in spite of the fact we have a creek and greenway attached. I've seen deer at night on my walks, but never from my window.

Good job blurring the too-busy background on 2 and 3 . That's easy to overdo.

If you received my email, then you need not have the address listed there at all. (No spam!)

When I was taking pictures when my son played little league, I would send the parents to the gallery where they could browse the pictured and place their order online and have it shipped right to them.

Were you able to make any money doing that?

I think I have improved the site with your guys help! Let me know if it is better now? Thank you so much for helping me :)

Much better!

You can increase the width, too.

Beautiful!

You're a better photographer than I am so I'll leave that subject to others.

The vertical size of many pictures is too large. Your web site should not be taller than 900 pixels (My screen is 1024 px)

Consider using a percentage instead of hard numbers for your display size. Otherwise you'll have to change the size of the photographs in Photoshop.

Without changing anything on the page, you have 628 vertical pixels (on my screen) to display the pics. I've marked up the Bio page. Make those positional changes and then determine the maximum allowable vertical size for your pics. The changes below will gain you about 90 pixels. (Making max vertical 718 px)

Move your nav bar to the left and the facebook button up beside it. Change the words so they more closely match the width of the facebook 'like' button. They extend too far to the left and the word 'Like' is less intimidating than 'Become a fan of'.

Oh yeah -- series is misspelled and should not be capitalized. The left margin should be the same on all four sides.

Not aware this was going on

It isn't going on. I've seen the piece. None of it is true.

Did you expect Aljazeera to be truthful?

If so, I have this bridge in Brooklyn I'll sell you real cheap.

It would have taken me hours and hours and hours to do what you all did.

Not once you got the hang of it. It moves quickly. Just zoom in and ignore everything that's not dog.

I didn't use the magic wand because it left square edges and I would have to soften them with the same eraser brush anyhow.

The trick is in the Layers and a fuzzy eraser brush.

Well thank you Dan. I wanted to keep Onyx in his own environment by just cloning out the unwanted background. Then I decided that he had gone Out of Bounds in real life by leaving this world so went that direction. Glad you liked it and I must say I enjoyed doing it.

You succeeded admirably and solved the problem of the dissimilar background.

Johnny had the right of it with the dark background and highlight behind Onyx. Also it didn't hurt to have the entire dog tightly outlined.

The problem with bringing in background images is how they look. All the other images shown were lit differently. (sun, etc)

What kind of a background were you thinking of?

You might want to take a flash picture for the express purpose of placing Onyx in it.

I notice the file name begins with "Thumbnail". Please use the biggest pic available.

I was shooting pictures at a friend's wedding yesterday evening, and when I got home, I found this "abstract" photo.

That's called 'serendipity' This one is about 83 yards from my back door and much more pleasing to the eye than the pic I tried to take.

I drag it too. I'm not going to fix every picture I take. I drag first to my desktop and the open up PS and place from desktop.

The first thing I do after opening "ThisPic.RAW" in Photoshop is to save as "ThisPic.psd". This becomes my working copy. If I know I'm going to be doing extensive edits, I create a folder "ThisPic ƒ". There might be any number of versions in that folder.

"ThisPicV0.8c.psd"

Then generate jpegs as needed. but typically, jpegs are throwaways. except when a certain dimension jpeg is needed.
