If you want to hit the ball over the water, you have to swing harder than that!
Sorry for your loss. It hurts to let them go even tho you know it’s the right thing to do. We lost our boy, Drift, a year and a half ago. That’s him over there on the left. I tear up every time I think of him, as I am doing now. A very special dog, but aren’t they all?

Very nice, maybe a wall hanger.
Lots of wall hangers along that railroad.
My wife just returned from a Viking River Cruise on the Danube. She took some very nice photos with her iPhone(the only camera she had). On the cruise she was on, most of the cruising was done at night. During the day, they were docked in different cities and did a lot of touring of castles, museums, churches, etc. If your 35mm is the DX F1.8, I’d take it for speed. BTW - a tripod is probably useless due to vibration on the boat and they may not even be allowed indoors during tours.
My wife just returned from a Viking tour from Budapest to Passau. She has a wonderful time, nbut the pandemic really took it’s toll on the tour. The longship had a capacity of 190 guests and requires a crew of 45 to operate. The number of guests onboard was 38. Needless to say, she and her companions got first class service.
She only had an IPhone 11, I think, and it did a very good job. Here are a couple of her shots.
My town is on the Ohio River and there is a lot of activity up and down the river.
My town is too! Where do you live?
It looks like they are ready to rip each other apart. Glad that’s not the case.
I saw it in Illinois a few years ago. A real treat for rail fans.
Looks like they’re finding enough to eat.
It is a static display at a museum in Pontiac Illinois.
A place that may be more on your direct route might be Mammoth Cave.
That looks good enough to eat!
