Good for cruisin' around Da Bronx!
I remember Whitehall Street. In 1970 I rode the Staten Island Ferry across, did the short walk to the center, sat and waited with some 'ugly' guys on crowed benches. After a few hours I got a 4-F for a heart murmur. Never felt so good for a bad problem.
My brother in law lives in my wife's family house in Belmar, had a stroke after Christmas and we went down to visit him in March. Afterwards we had lunch at Vic's and enjoyed a sausage, pepper and onion pie. YUM! The place looks the same as 1975, they still play Dean Martin and the pies taste the same. Afterwards we hit the Macaroon Factory in Avon to stock up on some goodies. When we visited him at the hospital in Neptune back in January, we had dinner at Kelly's Tavern for their Ruben sandwiches and bloody marys. They're still the best I've ever had.
My friends and I would rent a house in Bradley Beach from 1973 to 75 a block and a half from the beach. Great times were had by all! We'd walk up thru Ocean Grove to Asbury and hit the Stone Pony and a bunch of the rides along the boardwalk. I loved the cheesesteak sandwiches at the Wonder Bar. Damn good eats! In 1976 we upgraded to a house in Belmar two blocks from D'Jay's so we didn't have to drive. Five beers for a dollar, lots of girls and the band Holme. After 76, all the guys got married and that was the end of the BonZos. Ahhh, the good old days...
Yes indeed, a big bag or Pelican case. And if you go down that rabbit hole after more lenses, film backs and viewfinders, a hand truck!
They sound as good as they look.
I could watch them all day long!
I got ten bucks burning a hole in my pocket. The loose change should cover the shipping.
I agree with Leo, it would've made a better shot of her tumbling down the hill...
A very good read on what the press thinks about us 'subhumans'.
Seems like something important. My guess is a snap ring to hold the glass in place.
My last 'Trucker Jacket' got eaten away with battery acid when I was jump starting a 1978 Kenworth tractor and one of the batteries exploded. Apparently, it was frozen from the 12 degree temps the night before. My jacket, sweatshirt and overalls were toast after coming out of the wash. The joys of being a mechanic played havoc with my clothes.
And what the heck is a Goodman System? An air conditioner for the camera bag???
When I bought my battery grip with my 7D mark 2 at B&H, it came with a second battery tray for AA batteries. Even though I have four Canon batteries, I will load up the tray and bring it with me just in case my flash batteries die off. Sometimes, you can't have enough juice.
