You don't have to send them anywhere. A local camera repair shop can fix them. It will cost as much to ship them as you would pay the local anyway.
Had a grey market Nikon repaired at a Nikon repair facility in Washington,DC. Inexpensive and while I waited.
I have been purchasing "grey market Nikons" for years, both cameras and lenses. I have had only one problem, it was minor and repaired at a nominal cost by a Nikon repair facility in Washington,DC, while I waited.
My advice; keep taking pictures!!!!
I have been using RRS for 30 years, find them to be the best for price and quality on the market.
Most Nikons won't focus very well at f6 or higher. The extension tubes increase f stop. I always manual focus my Nikons with tubes or converters.
You would all EARN my respect if you didn't banter back and forth about who has a better camera and help each other learn more about what got us to this site in the 1st place...........PHOTOGRAPHY....and how to better our CRAFT.
Thank you all!!!!
I used the SB400 for several years on my DX 40 with great success. Still use it alot for family stuff
T used the nikon SB400 ($100) for several years until saving enough for a high end nikon. Works well and priced right for the time used.
