Beautiful shots, Jim! As an original San Antonian, I understand the appeal of the Hill Country. Where are the blue bonnet shots?

Hi UTMike, thanks and bluebonnets in and around Spicewood.

Jim, it's so wonderful to see you! I'm envious of your backyard buddies

Thanks so much Linda, LOL even my front yard is amazing. A big herd of all does, just came down from the scrub between my little house and my grandkids house. I have several vegetables and herbs growing on my front porch and I have to put out predator smelling deer repellent to keep them from eating my produce.

Jim, great series, I am partial to the second image, the buck checking out the harem!

Thanks Jeff, this was a very interesting walk that morning; I just got back from a drive to pick up breakfast tacos and ended up with a buck and a doe racing alongside my truck till they came to an opening in the brush where they could jump the fence. When I got back the front yard is full of does, yep this is a wonderful place. Thanks again my friend.

oh deer, jim, those bucks are so handsome and i love the shots and poses,
you must have a secret place among the trees and bushes to sit and shoot them!!

Thanks so much MT, really glad you liked them and you're right I've got several secret places that work well.
