Which Printer Paper

Editing Software

After years of using Lightroom I quit. There are a lot of good programs and, after all is said it comes down to your individual needs.
None of the free programs met my needs and I did not want too stay involved with Adobe. Look at the programs and try to determine which will better meet most of your needs. Almost all of them offer a free 30 day trial so download what interests you. I decided DXO was too expensive for what it provided (remember individual needs) and others were not quite what I wanted. I did spend a lot of time playing with ACDSee Ultimate 9 and an equal amount looking at and experimenting with Corel Paint Shop Pro X8 Ultimate.
I emailed both companies and explained after years I was considering leaving LR and wondered if they could provide a better price than was advertised. Interestingly, they both did.
That was the process, I learned a lot and I am very pleased with my decision.
