I just did an impulse buy a couple days ago. I was in Costco and saw they had a 55" Samsung for $399. I'm going to replace a 42" JVC. It's a 1080p but there's not much programming for UD yet anyway. It was the last day of that price but I think they are still $429 or so.

I think that the term "cow" has become common for all of our domestic ungulates even though technically it refers to the female of several species. In searching for a title for worlds tallest ____. what description do you like better? Daniel is obviously a castrated bull and is referred to as such several times. I'm pretty sure "cowboys" don't leave all the male cattle when they herd them off to market.

Thanks Brian. My wife and I spent the month of October last year in Turkey and this disjointed frenetic video gave us some glimpses of some of our favorite memories of the trip. I took 4700 photos but no video, I might change that in a do-over.

My near new HP laptop was doing this for a while, 3 - 4 months ago. Every morning and sometimes during the day it would drop the router. I reset all the sleep parameters and no difference. I don't know why it did it or why it quit doing it but it finally went away. I assumed it was a 10 update issue but I'm not technical or very curious. Hope yours self heals too.

I'm a Sony HX400 shooter. I started with the HX50 went to the HX300 and then when the HX400 came out got that one. I gave my camera and all my lenses to my nephew and can't imagine ever going back. I love the super zoom and I'm very pleased with the photo quality and do a lot of prints with good results. We spent the month of October in Turkey and I literally put the camera (with a Fastfire sling) around my neck first thing in the morning and took it off at night. I took 4700 photos. Nearly the same thing recently in Utah taking 1400 pictures in a week of hiking the parks. I could never have carried enough lenses to cover the varying conditions we found. I have no basis for comparing to the Nikon, which I've heard and read is very good but I am a serious fan of the Sony HX400v and super zooms. The lack of ability to shoot raw may be a deal breaker for some. As I am starting to play more in post I can see where this could be a major factor. Good luck and enjoy.

Hahaha. I was thinking of posting the same kind of thread yesterday when mine arrived. Like you I was surprised to see the Ireland postmark. Mine came in a cardboard box wrapped with blue plastic like a garbage bag or some such. Couldn't for the life of me figure out what I might have ordered that would have such a configuration. I'd forgotten all about the liquorice. A very pleasant surprise. I still have some left to share.
