I'm sure your wife will have a long list of things to keep you busy, but enjoy every moment... my husband has about 5 more years of hard time before he can play hooky!!
Actually I just went back to Planting Fields with a friend... that place is amazing and we're so fortunate to be able to get there and enjoy the sights of spring, during these grey days!!
FYI... if you go to Elizabeth Morton, bring bird food and go soon... in the warmer weather, I've found, there aren't many birds looking for free handouts! You will love it there!! If you've never been.... you park your car, go to the booth and fill out an envelope and you need to leave a donation.... then take the stub back to your car and put it on your dash so they can see it. Hope you have a great day when you go!!
I'm sure your wife will have a long list of things... (show quote)

Thank you Angela!

Easter colors always catch my eye. Great shot of this beautiful flower! I see Philly is no better off than us here on L.I. Thanks for shoring!

Incredible coastline shots. At first I thought that the figure in No 1 was flying a drone or something. I love to fish but never in a million years!

Wow, Carol, I love every one of your photographs, although I'm a bit invious of yours close proximity to such exotic wildlife. They are so nice and sharp; to me, some of these are National Geographic werthy. Here in North Idaho, it's just snowing and blowing. Yuck!!!
Great photos.
Gary

This Carol. Except replace snow and wind with clouds and rain!

I am also with envy over your subjects availability. You certainly take great advantage of them. Thank you for sharing them!

Ralph, despite this horrible weather, I know you are enjoying your relaxing retirement days.... and it's wonderful to have the Planting Fields to go to!!
Beautiful shots and I know seeing these colors gives us all a boost!!

I am enjoying being retired. I'm still in the guilty stage. It feels like this is wrong and I'm playing hooky! I'm sure that'll were off. Plenty to do around the house but I seem to be bouncing around from project to project and getting little accomplished.

My wife and I planned to go earlier in the week but the weather never really gave us a chance until Saturday. We saw the sun in the morning and got right up there before it clouded over. There was quite a variety of plants in bloom so this was one of our better visits. Glad you enjoyed the photos.

p.s. I'm putting Morton's Bird Sanctuary on the todo list! Looks like my kind of place.
