I was a Navy Flight Corpsman with HMM362 in and out of Soc Trang, South Vietnam and in and out of the Delta area, later I did SAR's ( Search Air Rescue ) Supply Drops over Fire Bases and What the Army called Dustoff's. Third tour, have a hard time talking about it, still in my dreams.

Anyone out there live near the Southern border of Pennsylvania in the Maryland, Va, West VA area? My Wife and I will be planning a weekend trip to one of those areas as soon as the Spring breaks out with leaves etc. Need tips on some nice lodging (No B & B's) please, just some good quality Motels and some nice places to visit close by where I can do some serious photography for a weekend...some of the areas I would be interested in are along Interstate 81 South below Carslile PA across the southern PA border; we are about 3.5 to 4 hours from that area and that is about the longest I can stand driving as I am a bit handicaped.

Just Checking in...I am from Pennsylvania, Avid Amateur Photography...mostly scenes and anything interesting...still learning do not get out as much as I would like. Nikon D5000 with standard lense and a 75/300...like the seashore for photography and the three seasons of the year, mostly spring as everything is new....I have been lurking mostly on the site.....not really too savy with the computer....do not write as much as I used to in my earlier years......UHH is a great site for learning Photography and most of the folks on the site seem really nice....will do my best to post.
