Well then you have your head in the sand because they have called Trump vile names for four years as have politicians like Schiff and Waters and as have actors and actresses.

The right has never stooped to the level that the left has done for the past four years. Annud the fact that you are unaware of that but claim to be an informed voter is truly frightening.

So you believe that in order to be an informed voter, you must watch late night comedians. That is sick......but funny. So, tell me, what do these late night comedians call Trump that you find so terribly offensive.

I’m sorry if you are offended by my reading the Economist and the New Yorker magazines and a newspaper in the evening instead of watching comedians on TV.
No wonder you said, “Annud the fact that you are unaware of that but claim to be an informed voter is truly frightening.” First, I haven’t claimed to be an informed voter.....and second, I don’t expect I would ever qualify as an informed voter based on the fact I watched late night comedians....nor should you. If you still find this frightening, I
suggest you start sleeping under your bed.

P.S. Ever hear of Obummer, Dimocrats, Demorats?

The national debt continues to increase because we spend too much money. A balanced budget amendment like most states have would solve the problem. So would fiscal responsibility.
When Clinton balanced the budget they still didn't pay down the national debt, but it was done by the republican house forcing spending cuts.

And, I don't care if corporate heads make more money. The stock went up. That benefited my retirement account as well as the retirement accounts of millions of other Americans.cor

And as far as corporate taxes, go we would all be better off if they didn't pay any tax, but the corporate officers were taxed at a slightly higher rate. That would encourage them to put the money back into the business instead of profiteering.
The national debt continues to increase because we... (show quote)

The national debt belongs to all of us. We can’t continue to give the wealthy tax cuts and say this is wonderful. It’s unsustainable. I am moot going to look it up, but prior to Reagan and David Stockman, the rate for high income people was 70 percent or more (at one time it was 90 percent. The country did great during that period. The reason was that corporation could give their profits to their workers or to the government. Guess who they gave it to.

Now corporations give it to stockholders and corporate officers. Why? Because it is taxed at the lower Capital gains rate that didn’t exist before and shouldn’t exist now for unearned high income recipients.

When the upper tax rates were 70 to 90 percent the US economy boomed. Factories were built, airports were built, highways were built, research and development flourished, wages were livable, mothers could stay home and raise their little ones.

Then came David Stockman and Reagan. Cut takes and everything will be wonderful, they said. What happened. We went from a lender nation to a debtor nation. We have been a debtor nation ever since. It all became worse when George W. Bush started two (count them) unprovoked wars and thought he could pay for them using the same reasoning you are using. That is, cutting taxes will stimulate the economy and increase revenue. It didn’t work then and it won’t work now.

One thing you need to understand. The stock market is not the economy. Your 401k is not the economy. The economy belongs to all of us including the debt. We have been giving far too much to the stock market and too little to those who produce wealth......the workers.

Half of the late night comedian did a lot more than you claim. Democratic politicians threatened to lock him up and to beat him up. Kathy Griffith paraded around with a severed fake Trump head. The vitriol has been constant for four years. Either you have paid no attention, which is hard to believe or you are a liar because it is nonstop every day.

Sorry, i never watch late night, early night or middle of the night comedians. If I’m in need of a laugh, I read the right wingers tripe on UHH.

You have got to be kidding. There was name calling during the Obama administration, but it was people on things like this forum. Since Trump was elected the name calling is by politicians, news media, actors and actresses, professional athletes.

The name calling about Obama did not have anyone with political clout behind it. The name calling and attempts to stop Trump started before he was even inaugurated and came from Washington D.C., not just from the forum. And if you look at what Kraken et al have called Trump for the last four years, it is much more pervasive than anything that happened during the Obama administration. Look at the Daily Show, Samantha Bee, Jimmy Kimmel. No one made fun of Obama like they make fun of Trump. It is viscous and it daily. And look at things like Griffith holding a severed Trump head.

Nothing like that happened during the Obama administration. Neither did the protests that started when Trump was elected. Remember, not my president before he even took office. So, don't try to claim that it was even close during the Obama administration. If you think that then you haven't been paying any attention to what your side has been doing.
You have got to be kidding. There was name calling... (show quote)

You’ve got to be kidding. The only thing people said about Trump was to ridicule his orange hair and his “do”. Of course they did talk about his thousands of lies, but that’s legit. To call him an orange haired liar is not name calling. It’s descriptive of what he is.

That might be true, but hiring went up as did wages, so it doesn't matter what they used the money for everyone was better off. And don't forget that most retirees and most pension plans include stock in their portfolios and the stock soared in value. So a lot of people benefited.

It isn't propaganda. Low corporate taxes are good for business and good for shareholders and good for wage earners. You need to take a course in economics 101.

You need to take a course in Reality 101. The tax cuts resulted in more stock options for corporate officers, more stock buy backs (which cause the stock prices to rise since there are fewer stocks. This increases the price of the stock. Therefore the corporate officers make more money without doing anything). The wages of the producers of wealth, workers, received very little benefit. Most companies gave employees a one time bonus, but not a wage increase which would continue.

What you cite as an increase in revenue to the government is a one time event. After that revenue decreases which increases the National debt. Look it up. What you cite is a myth perpetuated by people that don’t look at the real results. That is why the national debt continues to increase. If what you say was true the national debt would decrease. It ain’t true!!!

And the house is still controlled by democrats who want to raise taxes even more than Biden so what's your point?

What is your source for the statement that the democrats want to raise taxes?

Actually they should in order to fix the financial mess the republicans and trump has gotten us into.

Have you looked at what the left has called Trump and Republicans for the last year? Perhaps you should not lecture us on decorum. Both sides are guilty.

What is wrong with what I called trump?? .... orange haired narcissist, temporary occupant in the White House.

1. At times (not so much recently) he had orange hair.

2. He fits perfectly with what phycologists describe as some one with a narcissistic personality,

3. He is the temporary occupant in the White House.

What about these truths bother you? Is it because you know deep down that it is unpleasant but true.

Distinguished members of the House? You mean that old sot Nancy Pelosi who bragged on television about her 2 refrigerators that cost $24,000 each? How about the ice cream her kids eat there that she bragged about, which sells for $80.00 for a half gallon? All the while millions of Americans were having to rely on food stamps to survive, and to feed their children, and pray they could go back to work sooner than later? That classless bitch you actually refer to as distinguished? Man, you fit right in with the Democrat party, don’t you? You’re a class act just like your bitch heroine is.
Distinguished members of the House? You mean that... (show quote)

Of course you have evidence of these charges.....don’t you????...or are they lies. Please clarify.

Awww. Butt hurt, Frosty? I thought you would have thicker skin than that living up in Cheaterwood, Minnesota, home of the ones who tried a coup de tat on President Trump by using a rigged election. You guys must be so proud of what you’ve taught your kids.

Rigged election??? You made a charge against a whole state. You claim to have been in federal law enforcement. Unless the laws you enforced were for parking violations (which for the good of the nation, I hope is true) you should know you need to back up your claims with evidence, of which you offered nothing. This fits firmly into the lie category. Being a trump supporter, you are probably quite comfortable with lies.

Yes, both sides are guilty. However, do you recall what republicans called Obama and what they call democrats, even now. What democrats call trump doesn't even come close to what republicans have been calling democrats or Obama in the past.

True and think about this: The government likes higher prices for goods because the higher the price of an item, the more tax that is collected. While this isn't a federal tax, the states that collect taxes (unlike Delaware which collects zero taxes on purchases) love it when prices go up!

It’s called inflation. The U. S government prefers to keep a consistent 2 percent inflation rate, nothing more and nothing less. This seldom happens. The tools they have is limited. They have monetary and fiscal policy and taxation and spending . The federal reserve controls monetary policy and is semi independent of the government. Fiscal policy is government spending and taxation. If these get out of hand, the Federal Reserve steps in to right the ship with their monetary policy.

Amazing how your standards are so inconsistent and hypocritical. I guess you believe extreme right wingers can call democrats vulgar names at will but any hint of a derogatory name for your radical right winger friends gets you in a huff.

Let’s see you apply and enforce the same standards on your fellow right wingers. I am eagerly awaiting the application of your new standard.

I’m sure one could make a case for the orange haired loser being a pedophile and a whore, I have often thought of calling him that but refrained for decency sake. I see that doesn’t bother you. Too bad.....and you calling someone old man is like the pot calling the kettle black. Kind of funny.
