It seems the first sentence was a George Washington quote.
It seems the rest of the paragraph was from COLIN POWELL,
United States Secretary of State (2001 to 2005).
A real American stateman.

So sad this has been tagged (Author Unknown).

So sorry about the trivia question dealing with the Beatles and Winchester Cathedral.
It was The New Vaudeville Band, and they went on to become a one hit wonder.
Thanks for getting me to dig up that novelty. Still whistling along. Give a listen

My theory deals with the lint catcher. A sock becomes lint slowly and gathers in the lint catcher. After several cleaning and drying the sock will just become totaly lint and escape to the great lint collector in the trash can. One sock at a time as they are to smart to escape all at once. JUST A THEORY.

Why do I feel like someone is yanking my chain when I read this passage. Only because it was out there more that ten years ago, titled A BROKEN MAN.

Take a listen to Bob Dylan's Talkin'New York, from his first album self titled Bob Dylan (1962). Talking blues was term used to describe the style of this song. Could be called rap today. The song format was used by Woody Guthrie in some of his earlier numbers. Loudon Wainwright III has a few talking blues songs, one for Bob Dylan and another for Ronald Reagan.

Interesting that the topic turned to loudest band. The first time seeing the Moody Blue (Oct 1973), I was impressed by the fact they powered up only on one number for effect and the rest of the concert demanded your listening attention. Totaly different of experence for a rock concert in the 70's.

They just keep on getting better with every tour. Same as Ray Davies of The Kinks.

Thanks for bring me back to a forgotten moment some 55 years ago. My Grandmother lived on a farm and loved her garden and what it brought to her. One afternoon she put hands around one of these. She had no proper name for it except that it was like a hummingbird but was an insect. After letting me look at it close-up she let it carry on dancing in flight through out her garden. You brought back a sweet moment from my childhood. This is one happy person, thanking you. AG

I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots.
Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.

I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.

I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there.
I have made several trips there, thanks to my children, friends, family and work.

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.

I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.

I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.

Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older.

One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense!
It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!

I may have been in Continent, and I don't remember what country I was in. It's an age thing.
They tell me it is very wet and damp there.

Seriously tho', I wish everyone would put where they're from. In Hiding doesn't tell us anything about them.

I didn't add my location when I signed up because I didn't know it would be part of my ID. Now I need instructions. I am sure several instructors will be from Tougue-in-Cheek people, which is way off the map, because you can't get there from here. Just in case I don't understand the instructions, my lacation will read MILE END.
