I have never had any problems with this mounting using a D3x and 80-200 lens. Manfrotto three way pan and tilt head with the interface being the hexaganol QR plate. Again no problems with the D800 plus battery pack and Manfrotto ball and socket head with QR plate.
I have used good dura cells this time but might get a kit to use one of my Quantum turbo batteries
Adjust the grey card image and when done click copy in the bottom left of the develop screen. Click on the image that you want to be the same and click paste next to the copy key. You will then be given the option of what elements you wish to paste. You can highlight lots and then past to all at the same time.
I have just bought the sigma for my Nikon and covered a triathlon on Sunday. The flash worked very well but was a little slow recycling, when on fill - 1 2/3 stops. It only cost £99 as opposed to over £ 260 for a Nikon flash
That is a fallacy good beer is kept at cellar temperature of about 6 degrees centigrade. Too cold and it freezes your taste buds. Beer was invented to sterilise dodger water with the alcohol in it!
Very Droll - we have much better beer than Bud here!
Thanks twin 1, what does twin 2 say on this subject?!!!!
A lot of cameras allow you to put your copyright into the metadata so that every time that you hit the shutter it marks the resultant image file with that. It is better to mark the images with your copyright as well but include your name and the year. In the UK the copyright lasts till 50 years after the death of the author. You can sell the reproduction rights for any image without selling the copyright.
Colour management and a good screen - you will be able to match the camera, monitor and printer. I use an EIZO colour edge at about £600 and Colour Confidence system for calibrating.
I wish you Americans would spell colour correctly!!!
Don't forget that you own the copyright of the image and the artist will need to sign a disclaimer that he is not going to sell the painting and that it is for personal use. If the said artist is going to sell or publish the painting then you are in a position to agree a royalty before you pass over the image. If the image is that good take the negative to a good pro-lab and get them to scan at a minimum of 300dpi and correct the image for you prior to saving as a TIFF file and/or printing it. They might be persuaded to remove any scratches or dust marks. Hope this helps but let us see this image!
Jerry, If the lad can run to it an array of led's in a panel with a diffusing sheet are good and cool and daylight balanced. A reflector the other side will be fine for the fill. In the Uk Avon (the cosmetics catalogue people) have a sun windscreen shield in silver that makes a very good reflector and folds like a lastolite reflector.
We use superglue fumes to find fingerprints on plastics that you cannoy dust with powder - black refuse bags and the like.
Let them have those cameras - especially at weddings. When it is all over and their pictures have shake etc they will buy the professionally taken ones - simpels!
