Ran into this old one room schoolhouse that was built of stone. It's the only one I've ever seen like that. Image modified with Nik Filter

Precisely, keep the rain and snow off. Old wooden bridges faired much better with protection. This was probably more popular in New England. Its not common in the rest of the country.

This is the only bridge that still is in use. I’m not sure when it was built. It was the smallest of the bridges I photographed.

This eagle is nesting for the 5th time at this sight. I always enjoy photographing her and her partner. There is a 100 yard periphery around this nest so getting a decent shot can be tricky at times.

Image was taken with a canon AE1 on ektachrome slide film. Slide was scanned and converted to selenium toned image. The picture was taken at a black powder meet back in the late 70’s.
