I went out for a couple of chicken dinners today and took these couple of photos. Used my Canon R5 and EOS R L 70/200mm lense. All taken hand held and details will be with each photo. ALL C&C will be with each photo.

And I thought things bloomed well here! Wow! What a gorgeous spring show, Greg!!

I bought a Manfroto close up kit. A series of 3 tubes +1 with the attachment to the lens. Not the cheapest but pretty far from the most expensive. In testing it out I put the ring with the lens attachment on a lens. Now I cannot get the ring off. Photo 1 is the set with my lens, 2 is my lens with the ring on it. I thought the chrome screw would be the key. I have tried to move the ring while moving the screw, I removed the screw - it seems
nothing helps. Of course it came with no directions, Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This little girl has survived in our garden for about three weeks now. Despite the Honeyeaters and Blackbirds flying past all day, she's done well..Yesterday I saw she had captured a Wingless Nymph in her web and was busy dining on it. A fair sized meal for such a small spider I would have thought..today, there was nothing of it left, not even the empty husk...

She's maybe eating for a zillion little ones! Super shots, Ron, and I hope your spider stays until she lays her eggs!

Took a short drive to Cleemmon's Educational State Forest today. Was going to walk around the area to take a few photos, however, it was so crowded I decided to stay cool in the truck. Did get a few which I used my Canon R5 and Canon L RA 70-200mm lens. DDLs will show the sharp details and as normal ALL C&C is welcome.

Greg

What a lovely area, Greg, and especially so in the full bloom of spring! So glad you were able to get out and about to get these beautiful shots! Glad you included the info about the state forest.

This is my preserved Pleasing Fungus Beetle that I staged for a focus stacking session. This is the only one that I have come across and it is one of the larger ones that feed on the fungi found on dead trees and stumps. I found this one last year during one of my walks through the woods where it was under loose tree bark. They do not feed on food crops so they are not considered to be an agricultural pest.

And it's very pleasing to download this guy too! Fantastic shot, Sippy!!

Second of many to come over time.
It was about a week ago I posted my first of this years Paper Wasp documentation "if you well".
i have only seen one so far working on the hive, certainly over time many more are also going to be working on this.
If memory serves me right I think at one time on last years, I counted 12 or more.

Looking forward to seeing the family grow, Tom, and yes, I also remember the workers multiplying as the nest progresses. Fantastic shot!

I went to my heart Doctor at UNC-Rex and was able to capture some color. I used my Canon R5 with my Canon EOS 24-105mm via a Canon adapter. These photos are all cropped to this size. I recommend doing a DDL to see the sharpness in these photos. ALL C&C is welcome, I always try to improve my photography and members of UHH are always helping in this area. Thanks for taking the time to look at my latest attempt and all details for each photo will be posted with it.

Greg

Wow!!! How absolutely beautiful, Greg!!!
