So you were simply talking about printing to screen? My bad.

Dave, there's no need for an apology!

Hey Bill, I think we all have made prints that did not look quite like we had expected. I normally start with monitor calibration as well as ensuring I have the proper printer driver before I attempt anything like what you have done here. This can certainly take you from a ho hum photo on paper to that print you were after.

Thanks for the critique Dave! Much appreciated! But I don't have a printer and send them out to be printed! They come back perfect 99% of the time. It's cheaper in terms of time and money than buying all that ink!

Have you ever printed a photo and it came out different than you expected ? The first photo is one such photo. The petals were almost orange in color and the greens were lighter than I wanted. Photo 2 is how I corrected photo 1 and turned it into what I was originally hoping for. I used the quick selection tool and selected all the orange petals as best I could. I then used hue and saturation to make them more yellow. I then repeated this with all the light greens and repeated hue and saturation making the greens greener. It took no more than a couple of minutes to process… try this with one of your photos!
