Because I have added an MB-D18 Battery pack to my D850 I can no longer use these items:
An RRS Base plate and L component $100
An easyCover silicone protection cover for the D850. (Pardon the dust in the photos)
It does NOT include the easyCover LCD screen protector but I have a new in the box, never opened, Vello Screen protector Ultra for D850. $15.
The D850 has the same size screen as the D810, D800. It was sold for the D850.
An absolutely, outstanding photograph!
As usual, a great shot Larry. Merry Christmas. You just never know what will show up at Pendarvis.

Just one more thing before I ware out my welcome. A very interesting blogger from this part of Florida is Mark Smith on YouTube. He does a great job, I think, and a lot of the places are Eastern FL.

Hey Corky,
Blaster was commenting about the treatment plant in Vero Beach not the one at Viera. Although sb mentioned similar issues at Viera. I was up there a week or so ago and there wasn't much to see and the vegetation had taken over a few of the ponds and the berms were a little rough traveling. I didn't see much at Viera. I think that there was more to see at the Orlando Wetlands in Christmas, FL. It will be nice to see how the new pond there is when it is reflooded.
Speaking of Christmas, FL I hope everyone here has a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Blaster,
I had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago right down to the fire ants. I did see a couple of Snail Kites. It is sad to see how much it has gone down hill in just a couple of years.
You caught what was there well. Good job. I hope they do make an effort to get it back in shape soon.

Very nice Corky. Great downloads!

A very nice series Corky.

A happy photographer, cmc65, and a happy gull for sure. An excellent action series. Looking forward to seeing the next one when it does turns around.
Mike
And love them they do, I hope. Thanks for looking Mark.

Thanks for looking Corky and the nice comment.

Thank you very much Nancy. I was lucky that it seemed somewhat curious of my presence.
I was looking for a couple of eagles a few days ago. My only contact was this not quite full adult being harassed and seemingly not bothered at all.
Before that, I met up with this Crested Caracara. A pair seem to be preparing a nest site near by.
Nice shots Larry. I just saw my first (Loggerhead ?) Shrike this week too. Good hunting.

I had a similar but not nearly as serious issue with my 200-500. I ended up contacting Nikon and ultimately returned it to them. They ended up replacing 6 major components including the front element and AF components. It did take a while and had to go back a second time for a different issue but everything was with in warranty. I use it, also, for BIF. Now it tracks and locks on as it should.
After reviewing everything previously mentioned and still with an issue I would at least contact Nikon.
