Many of the photographs in Imus's book were shot with a Fuji 6x17 panoramic camera. He bought the camera from me when I worked at Alkit. I spent about an hour explaining the camera to him and answering his questions. When we were finished I handed him my business card and told him it was a pleasure to meet him and help him.

The next morning the owner of the company wanted to know what I had said to Imus. When I asked why, the owner told me that on Imus's radio show that morning he mentioned me by name. Imus told his listeners that I was uninformed and incompetent as a photographer and salesman. He ripped me on his show. Well I was Alkits head technical adviser and consultant and my boss knew I was always respectful.

Apparently "Mr. Imus" can not give credit where credit is due. So his way of paying me a compliment was by insulting me on his show.

BTW in my opinion his photographs are snapshots and not very good. I think out of his book there were only one or two images that were worthy of mention.

At least when I helped Bruce Springsteen when he was in our shop he treated me like a gentleman. Bruce is a class act. Imus is just an a**hole!!

How about the mandatory black box provision of the law that will require Black Box data type boxes to be installed into your cars after 2015 that will track your movement and make it accessible to the government?
