I used to have good luck driving the entire area slowly searching for subjects. Be there when the sun starts to rise or earlier.. You may see foxes or deer. I have a few pheasant photos taken in the fields by the visitors center. I use a 150-600mm. This range will cover most wildlife situations. I don't use a tripod, but rest my lens on the car window sill on a photo bean bag. The lens has vibration reduction. Watch for Northern Harriers flying over the marsh on the east side searching for food. You will have to get out of the car for those. Drive the entire area; you may find some surprises. Good luck.
I downloaded the latest version of Topaz Denoise Al; then loaded it into Lightroom Classic and Photoshop CC, and works just fine. Maybe a little slow rendering, but does a good job.
