Very nice shot! Interesting that a road was built like that, I'm sure it has to do with the house next to it.

number 4 looks astronomical!

Yes it does. The day that I shot these my two Grandsons were visiting and the one said that #4 looked like Saturn with moons circling it. Thank you for taking a look.

Excellent in every way. The milk drops are a true work of art.

Thank you very much. This type of photography is a work in progress for me, I learn more each time I do it. Thank you for taking look.

Happy New Year to you Joe, great shots, love the last 4...

Hi Val and Happy New Year to you too. I was a little surprised with how the almond milk and water shots turned out, I had no idea when I came up with the idea. I am going to be trying some other liquids in the next week or so, hopefully I can come up with some unique shots.

Happy New Year back to you and yours, Joe! What a beautiful set of water drop images, and what interesting effects! I love the creamy almond milk shots. #5 and 6 look like colored eggs.

Happy New Year to you and your family Donna. I was pleased with the way they turned out, yes they do look like Easter Eggs. My grandson said the one looked like Saturn with moons circling around it, he wanted it for his home screen on his iPhone. Planing on trying some other liquids, not sure what right now.

Joe these are really fun and creative, I enjoy them very much especially the almond milk shots. I would never have thought of that. Thanks for the posts.

Hi Alan, thank you for taking a look. It's been fun learning this type of photography, especially with the cold winter. It's funny, my wife asked me why I did not use 2% milk instead of the almond milk. I didn't really have a better answer than the almond milk was a little different in color. I am glad you enjoyed them, I will be posting more in the near future.

First of all, Happy New Year to everyone! I started the new year working on my water drop photography. I have learned a lot and have a lot more to learn, a lot more. I did some with just water, food coloring and a colored background. Then I decided to change things up and used Almond Milk as the drop with colored water as the base for the drop to strike. Hope you enjoy. As always any advice is gladly accepted and needed I might add.

You have inspired me. I have the equipment and will be starting my try at in in the next two weeks. I can be patient. I imagine I will need a lot of patience.
Thanks for your images.

Glad I could inspire you. Patients is the key, I am leaning that myself. I got my equipment as a Christmas Gift from my family, never did this kind of photography before so I am very, very slowly learning. I am open to all suggestions and new ideas on how to get this done right. Good luck and can't wait to see your work.

OK, how many thousand shots?

Hi Terry, thanks for taking a look. Actually if I had to guess at the number of shots I would say it was under 100 for this series, I was shooting in bursts of about 4-5 at a time.
