I think there is going to be a sequel to that called, "Inside the Mind of a Cat Owner".

I'll be looking for the show you mentioned.

More accurately entitled "inside of the mind of the human owned by a cat".

No major city in Europe is safe to carry anything of value. Take precautions, I always carry my camera's in my hand, and never set them down anywhere.
And always carry your wallet in your front pocket.

And keep your hand in that pocket holding the wallet, the pick pockets are very aggressive especially in the Metro (Subway). Voice of experience!

I climbed Longs Peak (not the technical route BTW) when I was an Estes Park high school student and came close to being killed by lightning.

So, you know who Sampson was. Damned poacher! I was walking around on the top of Evans one day and I noticed the hair on my arms was standing up. I scurried to the car and back down to Front range territory.

Thanks

Yes, I agree about #2 - not sure I can explain except #1 is full frame camera (A99) . I think there may be some subject motion blurr in #2.

CIZ is Sony's Clear Image Zoom - in camera cropping and pixel enlargement .....

Thanks. I guess I need to read my A99ii manual.

Gotta watch out for those snow snakes too. They get pretty active on blue bird days.

Every once in awhile I still shoot my 1941 vintage Argus C3. I hope I don't violate any UHH conduct by including this link. https://flickr.com/photos/49889935@N07/albums/72157635739086095

I have (and use) the previous version, the Retina 1a. looks like the Retina II has the f/2.0 lens. Great little full frame pocket camera. Load it with Kodak Tmax 100 for great black and white photos.

It's a gray and dismal day (which is perfectly fine with me), but the wind is howling outrageously. So....

These are old --as in three scanners ago old-- scans of even earlier (from the 80's-90's) images in Arches Nat'l Park. Consequently, don't look too closely or the grain from these Tri-X (that's B&W film for you [few] who don't already know) images might be mistaken for golf balls, or worse, might leap up off your screen and lodge in your eyeballs. Which wouldn't be nice at all.

I've gotta get down there with my mini speed graphic and some TMax 100

Hello all. Has anyone here ever shot a skier torch light parade? I'm just wondering what shutter speed and aperture to use. I'm after a timed photo that will show the blur of the torches as they carve down the trail, somewhat like the blur of car tail lights on a winding curve. Tripod, of course, maybe ISO 100, 1 minute exposure @ f/22? All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

This is SOOC. There is something I need to add to my kit if I'm going to try to capture any more of these.

Patience!
