Morning skies happen like that once in a while, but you usually don't capture them, like your club did...the girls are going to have some pictures to hang on the wall, that their family and kids will enjoy for a lifetime......Beautiful Photos

I'm sorry about the broken lens, but alot of people talk about renting lens to try them out. You might rent one for the vacation, while you are trying to figure out what to do with your old lens....

Love the Airplane shows, your pictures are outstanding. The last one looks like the plane doesn't want its picture taken....

I like to stop by the local print shop, and make up several copies of whatever venue I'm shooting. Last week I was at Regional softball Tournaments with my Grand daughter. I left after the games and she rode home on the bus. By the time she got home, I had three copies made of each favorite pics ( more if they were close friends ), and handed her 3 cheap albums. One for her, one for her catcher, one for the coach and several handouts to her friends that night. You never seen such a bunch of excited kids, amazed at how fast one can edit and put together some quick pics. It was about $30.00, but its a hobby, not a business. I've never charged for a picture in my life, and if I did I couldn't call it a hobby, the smiles I get are my pay. By the way they took 1st at Regionals and 2nd at State class-B North Dakota, we had some very excited and appreciative kids.....I've also done this with Family reunions and other events, went to get ice or beer, and come back with photos for the relatives to take home. People love holding pictures, not always wondering if they are going to lose them on their Iphone etc.
